2A PEOPLE HUNT TOO & FUDDS GOTTA GET OVER IT!  GUNS ARE TOOLS NO MATTER THE COLOR & USAGE!

by Dave "Rosey" Rosenthal, Editor in-Chief Black Wire Media

    Sun. Aug. 2, 2020 www.cnjfo.com/join-us

The Anti's are laughing! Can't we all just get-along? Is this a False Flag or the real thing? All these thoughts and more raced through my mind as I digested this last night before bed. Well, based upon personal observations & interactions with the stereotypical "Elmer Fudd with a shotgun" types, we'd have to say there's some truth to the rumor that Fudds do indeed exist. But based upon some recent FACTS (all those NICS checks) & cleaned-out inventory at gun stores, we'd also have to say that the millions of "woke" NEW gun owners aren't going hunting this season. That is unless it's open season on violent scumbags let out of JAIL for Covid, so they can commit crimes & prey upon the public, become home invaders, rioters and the like! No bag limits on them!

Put bluntly, we need to stick together and stop acting like spoiled children that need their butt spanked. Many #2AHeavyLifters also HUNT, myself included. NRA members come in all shapes, sizes & flavors.

I'm a C-Class USPSA competitive action shooter, as well as a Marksman in IDPA action shooting. I own a OMG "Black Rifle", the most popular & easiest to shoot rifle in America. I've run a pistol league at my club for almost 20 years. We engage B-27 & B-34 silhouette targets. I've rubbed elbows with famous action shooters and enjoyed their company. I've "runned & gunned", so I've "earned my stripes" in THAT world.

I'm also a Black Powder Fudd when I want to be, especially when I go afield in search of game. I'm PROUD to be. As the country's first Double Distinguished Expert in Muzzleloading I choose to enjoy the challenge of doing things like they did almost 200 years ago. When my 10 ga. percussion black powder Side-by-Each scattergun belches burning EXPLOSIVES from its muzzle, nary a pheasant escapes my skill. When I hunt hogs with my .50 caliber traditional sidelock muzzleloader or .44 cal Cap & Ball revolver, I don't miss. I tell you this not to brag but to "earn my stripes" in the eyes of some who hate black rifles (AR-15's) and "plastic fantastics" (double-column semi-auto hand guns made of space age composites).

Now that I've bored you with some of my background details, here's what I think:

Mr. Vance never got the memo that his hunting gun is already on the list of the total disarmament scheme of the gun grabbers, plain & simple. Instead of merely singling him out and pointing to an identified "Fudd" stereotype, we as gun owners that support the Second Amendment need to reach out at gun club meetings, gun shops, etc., and promote the good will we need to fight our common enemy--the Anti's, the Karen's, and Mom's Demand--instead of each other!

The old adage "divide & conquer" is alive & well. How do we know that a Mom's Demand husband married to a "Karen" didn't write the letter to Guns & Ammo magazine? Being a responsible 2A proponent requires tact, discipline and courage to always see the whole board before making a move. What's YOUR next move, eh?

Don't fall for the BAIT, become the change you want to SEE!

CHEESEMAN ON JUSTIFIABLE NEED & CONVICTS OUT!  REFLECTIONS OF SCOTUS PETITIONER CASE #19-27!

Op-Ed by Mark Cheeseman for Black Wire Media

    Fri. July 31, 2020 www.cnjfo.com/join-us

When I filed petitions and counter arguments for my case against the state of New Jersey for carry of a firearm, the state and/or county always argued that the presumptively lawful justifiable need statute was in the interest of public safety.

Handgun regulations are treated as longstanding constitutional, presumptively lawful, and the N.J. Legislative branch has always upheld the rationing of weapons carry permits.

Presumptively lawful means they presume rations of permits are lawful. In other words your constitutional right to self defense with a handgun is presumed to be UNLAWFUL. So "Justifiable Need" and all that goes with it is also presumed to be lawful.

Yet this week the New Jersey legislators have decided that releasing offenders from JAIL is somehow in the interest of public safety. There were actually a number of new bills presented and voted on that all specifically lean towards early release of individuals incarcerated.

Far be it from me to decide on who’s guilty or not. That’s the job of our justice system. Fact is our justice system already convicted certain individuals including sexual predators (and minor assault offenders) as guilty. Now they're deemed no longer a public threat due to Covid-19.

Do I get a pass on a gun charge ? NO!

Do I get a pass on defending myself or my family if need be in public? NO!

The justifiable need statute and all its components are now considered null and void by default. Look at the news where I live. "Special danger", a term I've been fighting for years, a bar upon which the granting of carry permits is weighed, is now just a simple trip to Walmart. Urgent necessity is here and now!

If legislators and judges in New Jersey are going to ignore the constitution then we certainly need to re-think how much weight a statute holds.

    EDITOR's NOTE:

Mark Cheeseman was and will always remain a history-making NJ gun owner. His tireless efforts on behalf of every NJ resident to bring truth, justice and hope to us all will never be forgotten. As a Petitioner to the U.S. Supreme Court with case #19-27, he led us on a journey to right wrongs. As a CNJFO Patriot Pin recipient, Cheeseman has set an example for others to follow. His courage, commitment, and love for his country cannot be measured. This is his first Op-Ed for us. We hope reading it helps shine a light into the darkness, for it is up to each of us to be READY for whatever lies ahead!

Biden's 'Gun Violence Epidemic' Plan is a Blueprint for Civilian Disarmament - The Truth About Guns

FORCED REGISTRATION, ONE GUN A MONTH IN ALL US!  BANS, LIES & SMART GUNS DEFEATED BY MAGNETS!

by Black Wire Media Thur. July 30, 2020 www.cnjfo.com/join-us

Gun Control used to mean using TWO hands when I was growing up. Today it means total civilian disarmament, in stages, like death by a thousand cuts. We're not supposed to know it's happening until it's too late. Someone on the Gun Control zealot side of things didn't get the memo, and the "beans got spilled". Our CNJFO Communications Director Theresa Inacker sorts it all out by taking you through a tour of HELL one chapter & verse at a time. There's even a video of a $1,500 smart gun being defeated multiple ways by a tech-nerd (but anyone can mail-order a $15 MAGNET)! This story is the most comprehensive look into the Gun Grabber's BIG LIE!

Free Download: How to Talk About Guns, Safety, and Protecting the Civil Rights of All Americans – The DC Project

CNJFO PROUD TO PARTNER WITH THE DC PROJECT GALS!  "EACH ONE, REACH ONE" MADE EASY WITH DCP DOWNLOAD!

by Black Wire Media Thur. July 30, 2020 www.cnjfo.com/join-us

NRA Board member Anthony Colandro coined the phrase, "Each One, Reach One" years ago on his weekly Gun For Hire Radio Show. It means every gun owner is a Good Will Ambassador to gun ownership; it also means YOU have a responsibility to promote it to at least ONE fence-sitter! We all know that fence-sitters need some light "arm-twisting" when gun owners speak about gun ownership. The DC Project just made being an ambassador something we all should consider.

"These folks that sit on the fence about guns often regurgitate Mom's Demand talking points whenever they get involved in "gun talk". Because it's all they know--it's what MSM tells them! Now gun owners have a tool in their tool chest to fight back, change minds, and invite their friends & family to the range to see what it's really all about!" ---Dave Rosenthal, Black Wire Media Editor in-Chief

The DC Project has developed a communications tool--this very download---to help the average gun owner not only defend but promote gun ownership by using both facts & emotions. New gun owners, especially women, will find it very helpful in the battles that lie ahead. "Each One, Reach One" just became a little EASIER!

"Deer in the headlights is not an effective way to respond to anti-gun arguments. The best way to prevent being cornered or berated is to be prepared to have a meaningful conversation about guns with friends and family". ---The DC Project

NJF&W REOPENS WMA RANGES POST-FURLOUGH!  MILLVILLE WMA RANGE UPGRADED TO 200 YARDS!

by Black Wire Media Wed. July 29, 2020 www.cnjfo.com/join-us

The Wildlife Management Area Ranges throughout the state of New Jersey that were closed for the last three weeks due to the forced furlough of NJ Fish & Wildlife personnel have begun to reopen, effective Monday July 27th. The furlough was ordered by NJ Governor Murphy even though the funding to maintain the facilities comes from federal funds and taxes on sporting goods and ammunition. We're glad to see them reopen but are never the less saddened that they're at the whim of our anti-gun Governor.

Not only shooting ranges were affected, boating facilities were also. In fact, some boat ramps had "K-rail" (cement highway dividers) placed across roadways normally used by First Responders when their emergency help is needed. Needless to say, we're glad this fiasco only lasted three weeks!

The following is a bulletin from NJF&W's Facebook page:

"The improved range at Millville Wildlife Management Area reopened earlier this week!

The New Jersey Division of Fish and Wildlife is excited to unveil the recently renovated public firearm range located at the Millville Wildlife Management Area. The upgraded training range opened to licensed hunters and their guests on Monday, July 27. Upon arrival at the range, shooters will immediately notice:

    • A covered firing-line

    • Eight new individual shooting stations, including one ADA compliant station

    • Reinforced downrange concrete baffle

    • Improved parking area

The Millville WMA firearm range is unique, as it is the longest (just over 200 yards) range managed by the Division of Fish and Wildlife. The new bench rests and seats will provide a stable platform for shooters to hone their skills at the longer distances. Downrange baffles and target berms eliminate the potential for bullets to travel beyond the backstop. These enhancements will increase the safety and maximize the enjoyment of recreational shooters.

The improvements were made possible with state dedicated conservation funding and revenue from the federal Wildlife Restoration Act, generated from the purchase of hunting and target shooting equipment and supplies. This is just one of the many ways that hunters and recreational shooters support conservation in New Jersey.

The Millville Wildlife Management Area public shooting range is located 2.8 miles west from the intersection of Ackeley Road and Buckshutem Road in Millville:

    Ackeley Road

    Millville, NJ 08332

    MAP: www.njfishandwildlife.com/pdf/wmamaps/millville_ranges.pdf

The range is open 7 days per week, 8:00 a.m. to sunset.

WHY THE GOOD GUYS NEED CCW GUNS IN JERSEY!  BRANDISHED AT IN A WALLY WORLD PARKING LOT!

by Black Wire Media Mon. July 27, 2020 www.cnjfo.com/join-us

Don't look now Loretta (NJ Senator Weinberg), THE WILD WEST is already here thanks to politicians of your ilk! In a scene right out of the movies, a Wally World parking spot became worth going to JAIL over! Seems not even a trip to Walmart is safe anymore for John Q. Citizen in south Jersey's Washington Township, a normally bucolic Philly suburb. At least not with these two miscreants on the loose. The pair decided it was a great idea to brandish their illegally-gotten GAT (hand gun) as the argument over who's spot it was escalated. Such a thing doesn't happen in Free America, where everyday citizens (including pizza delivery drivers) HAVE carry permits and so can SHOOT YOU!

See an armed society is a POLITE society in Free America where perps KNOW folks CARRY. But since New Jersey's political elites have armed escorts, they don't care about us serfs. We're merely "collateral damage" statistics in the unwinnable war on street crime (the War ON GUNZ!), where only the thugs have guns and the citizenry is at their mercy.

Where the Perps go through a revolving door Court system (we can't bring ourselves to call it "Justice") and have Rap Sheets as long as your arm. Where the actual Gun CRIMES "go away" in a broken system yearning for thugs to plead-away indictable firearms offenses in lieu of quick convictions! Where the citizens are told only the cops should have guns, and John/Jane Q. Public can't be trusted with sidearms. Where the Police have "no duty to protect" any individual (don't look at us, the Courts ruled on this YEARS ago!).

People sometimes ask us why we fight so hard for New Jersey's legal gun owners to be able to carry. Maybe our answer should be because we merely want to shop at Wally World without being threatened by the trash?

23 YR OLD LAPD 3-GUNNER SUED BY METH-HEAD’S FAMILY!
SHOOT GOOD? THEY BITCH YOU'RE TOO GOOD & SUE YOU!

by Black Wire Media Thur. July 23, 2020 www.cnjfo.com/join-us

Most of the time in these parts we hear horror stories of the results of 12 pound pistol triggers on officer-involved shootings, with cops spraying bullets because of a combination of adrenaline rush, sympathetic / contagious fire and forced mandatory equipment (those gawd-awful triggers) that hinders accuracy. It's not due to a lack of training, as most sworn officers train more than a recommended department minimum and pass their pistol qualifications with ease. It's due to physics---overcoming those gawd-awful "safe" triggers bureaucrats love. So what happens if you're one of the best shots in the department, practice regularly, enjoy shooting competitively on your days "off the job", and post about all the fun you're having SHOOTING FAST & accurately? That's right, you've become a TARGET that needs dealt with because over-zealous lawyers prostitute themselves to the families of the Bad Guy Meth-Head that attempted to KILL YOU!

    From the L.A. Times:

"Hernandez’s (the Perp's) family has said they think Officer McBride could have done more to de-escalate the situation before firing her weapon and said that she behaved like the competitive shooter she was in the videos, the Los Angeles Times reported.

From one of the Perp's family attorneys looking for a payday:

“She loves to shoot all these things as fast as she can,” Arnoldo Casillas, one of the attorneys for the Hernandez (aka the Perp) family, said. “That certainly is in stark contrast to the measured, cautious police officer, exhibiting a reverence for life. This isn’t a movie.”

So what's it supposed to be, eh? Do we want our Cops trained to shoot accurately & only when they have to, using as few rounds as necessary and superior judgement to stop the threat OR do we want the mediocre status-quo? The public can't have it both ways. Thankfully LAPD is sticking to its guns and backing 2017 Academy Top Shot Toni McBride! Full story in the link.

    EDITOR's NOTE:

Competitive Action Shooting is safe & fun and we know this from being involved in it for decades. We have police friends that thought they were good---until they started shooting action. They honed their skills with us and taught us what it's like to be "on the street". We wish every Cop shot Action

BRANDISH w/ INOPERABLE GUN WON'T GET A CONVICTION!
DIRTY ANTI-GUN PROSECUTOR TAMPERS WITH EVIDENCE!

by Black Wire Media Thur. July 23, 2020 www.cnjfo.com/join-us

This amazing story won't go away, has a life of its own and is like a 70's daytime "WHO DONE IT" TV drama. In Missouri you can't arrest someone for brandishing if they feel their lives and/or property is threatened. Well you CAN but it's like arresting the Pope for being Catholic! IF you even make it to Court you'll never get a conviction. Even if they point a REAL gun at you, with all of its parts correctly assembled, and ---the media LOVES this saying---"it's FULLY LOADED".

Disregarding both common sense AND the law, this Prosecutor doesn't care what the law says. So what's a dirty Prosecutor with an agenda supposed to do, eh? That's right, have the Crime Lab repair a non-functioning .380 popgun so it would actually work when test-fired! WHAT? While you digest that morsel of "creativity", read-on...

In a very ironic twist of fate, that .380 the Mrs. was brandishing with her finger in the trigger guard (man, did we HEAR about that!) was a "Court Prop" being used to SUE A GUN MANUFACTURER in a case in which this same "2A Hero couple" are representing the Plaintiffs bringing the suit! Wait. WHAT? Digest some more..

So what makes this evidence tampering by the Prosecutor's staff any less of a conspiracy than, as an example, dirty cops planting a "throw-away" hand gun with its serial numbers filed-off or planting a Kilo of cocaine in the McCloskey's safe? Absolutely NOTHING that's what! Dirty is DIRTY!

Whether or not we put the McCloskey's on a pedestal for using their 2nd Amendment rights ---with unloaded & non-functioning guns--- or wish ill will on them because of their politics is entirely up to each reader. But just remember this: If the Anti-Gunners are so willing to attempt to set-up powerful lawyers that donate to elements of the radical left wing, what makes you feel safe enough to think they won't come after you with every DIRTY trick in the book, eh? Anybody that touched that .380 hand gun to make it fire because the Prosecutor said so is guilty of conspiracy. We'll update this story as needed, so stay tuned for more twists & turns :)
