MAG BAN, TURKEY BAN, WILL UNCONSTITUTIONALITY STOP? WILL THE STASI BE FOLLOWING YOU HOME FROM THE STORE?

by Black Wire Media Sun. Nov. 22, 2020 www.cnjfo.com/join-us

"MY, THAT'S A BIG ONE!" said the Secret Police in the Communist People's Republic of New Jerseystan. Whether referring to standard capacity 30-round magazines for your modern sporting rifle OR your 20-pound or more Thanksgiving turkey is now INTERCHANGEABLE! Better check your rear-view mirror for Murphy's henchmen after loading your vehicle with that ILLEGAL crowd-pleaser, be it at an out-of-state gun shop OR your local grocery store! The pulled-out-of-thin-air magic number 10 has been EXCEEDED! Bullets in a magazine or guests at a holiday table are the same, and how dare we question it! For New Jersey residents are once again "under the thumb" of our Dictator in-Chief.

The same guy who allegedly (it's just hearsay so we can't PROVE it, but it made a scene) waltzed into a Red Bank, NJ restaurant earlier this month and demanded his entire party of 8 be seated together, even though it VIOLATES his own EXECUTIVE ORDER! Hostess said "no sir", to which he replied, "DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM?". To the joint's credit (we know where but we're not telling!) their manager turned down our Hypocrite in-chief too. So the guy who outlawed 15 round mags and restaurant tables with 7 or more people got his panties in a twist and stormed-outta the place! Where's the Count of Sesame Street when you need him the most, eh?

As you and your loved ones gather-round your Thanksgiving table, remember to raise a glass to toast the "Good for thee and NOT FOR ME" leadership in this state, before they figure out a way to tax the air you breathe!

Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at Black Wire Media, the official news agency of the Coalition of New Jersey Firearm Owners. Be responsible. If you're sick, stay home. We're all adults here; maybe it's time our government treated us as such!?

SMITH & WESSON REP. BRINGS GUNS TO DIVERSITY SHOOT! CNJFO ADDRESSES CROWD & R-O's DIVERSITY SHOOTERS!

by Black Wire Media Fri. Nov. 20, 2020 www.cnjfo.com/join-us

Tony Simon's "The 2nd is for Everyone: Diversity Shoot", which brings folks from all walks of life together to learn about their 2nd Amendment rights and how to shoot safely, was held at The Heritage Guild in Easton, PA on Thursday November 19th. A Smith & Wesson representative was there and set-up a mini trade show, bringing cases of firearms for the attendees to both ogle and shoot. CNJFO Shows & Community Outreach Committee member Nick Wong and Dave "Rosey" Rosenthal, CNJFO Vice President, spoke to the attendees about NJ gun law incrementalism, what the Coalition does, why we're there (our mission), and then we were assigned as Instructors for the evening Shoot.

Rosenthal spoke about how the Coalition represents all New Jersey gun owners regardless of membership affiliation, briefly mentioned the lawsuits we're a part of, and asked for folks to join and volunteer. Wong spoke about his responsibilities on the committee, why he got involved, and about the New Jersey Gun Forums Shotgun Shoots he runs at nearby Clinton, NJ Wildlife Management Area just 13 miles away. To learn more about NJ's largest gun owner blog, go to: https://www.njgunforums.com/forum/

CNJFO member Angelo Yacone instructed the shooters on Smith & Wesson's new 9mm offerings, Rosenthal taught attendees how to use both .380 caliber pistols and S&W's newest wheelies (revolvers) and Wong brought his personal firearms and ammo to instruct with.

The Coalition of New Jersey Firearm Owners has provided these volunteer services to Simon's Diversity Shoots since their inception. No other Second Amendment group has done so. CNJFO, New Jersey's leader in 2A community outreach, is dedicated to providing support of Second Amendment rights through education and awareness. CNJFO CLAY CRUSHERS RAISE MONEY FOR WAR CHEST! SPORTING CLAYS TOURNEY A HUGE PRO-2A SUCCESS!

by Black Wire Media Tues. Nov. 17, 2020 www.cnjfo.com/join-us

Well over fifty 2nd Amendment Patriots from all over New Jersey, most of whom are CNJFO members, gathered at Lehigh Valley Sporting Clays in Coplay, PA Sunday to raise money for lawsuits to fight NJ's half-century of unchecked gun control. Sporting clays is both challenging and fun, beginner-friendly, and most closely resembles birds in flight, which makes for great practice during pheasant season. Smashing orange discs flying through the air & rolling along the ground from every possible angle, our shotgunners were warm in spirit, with abundant smiles and camaraderie.

Thanks to help from CNJFO Patriot Pin recipients Carmen Urso and Jerry Arose, who both came early to help Clays Co-Chair Dave "Rosey" Rosenthal unload his "War Wagon" and set-up the room, at sign-in each shooter was given a Gun For Hire goody bag loaded with useful items. Newly-designed (by graphic artist and former CNJFO President Matt Andras) "CNJFO Dusters And Missers Club" royal blue 5-color crewneck sweatshirts with crossed shotguns & orange clays were gifted to every participant (we have a few for SALE!) as squad assignments were read aloud.

Prestigious Lehigh Valley Sporting Clays was once again chosen due to a number of factors, none more appealing than their unique and pristine16-station, 100-bird course surrounding an abandoned limestone quarry. Since it's a bit of a drive to Lehigh, CNJFO always provides professional catering, including a continental breakfast at sign-in and a hamburger and pulled pork BBQ lunch immediately after. Our scattergunners traversed the course in style, as each squad of four was assigned a golf cart customized to hold shotguns, ammo and anything else you'd need to enjoy your day.

During our BBQ lunch, Mark Cheeseman, last years' U.S. Supreme Court Petitioner in case #19-27 (denied CERT with the 9 other 2A cases before the Court!), was introduced. During his remarks Cheeseman thanked everyone for attending and highly praised the Coalition for our help, stating the fact that we were the only 2A group in NJ to file an amicus brief on his behalf.

Mark then introduced our main speaker, well-known NJ gun law historian Jay Factor. Factor explained how our amicus brief detailed the ugly truth highlighting the fact that the NJ legislature never actually voted on how firearms carry permitting is to take place, as well as who did it & what actually happened so many long years ago. Cheeseman and Factor also thanked us for the $11,000 check we presented to them as a result of our "matching funds campaign", where CNJFO did a dollar-for-dollar match of donations earmarked for their case, using funds raised at various fundraisers such as Sunday's Clays Tournament.

Thanks to our gracious sponsors, a handsome prize table was set-up, adorned with swag and valuable gifts a-plenty to tantalize our "Dusters And Missers Club" members. Toward the end of our BBQ lunch, CNJFO Vice President Dave "Rosey" Rosenthal sold raffle prize tickets and fellow Patriot Pin recipient Jon MacMillan followed with 50-50 tickets. CNJFO President Dan Grdovic together with Jack Pyle, CNJFO Clays Co-Chair & Treasurer, assisted with prize deliveries to all points of the pole barn, while Life Member Rhiannon Teng took pictures of our happy prize winners (see photos). CNJFO Patriot Pin recipient Jerry Arose won the 50-50.

Pyle, our behind-the-scenes magician that makes everything appear to "flow" so well at our events, ordered trophies for High Lady, High Man, and High Squad. We presented "Duster And Misser" Rhiannon Teng with the High Lady trophy, for her score of 72 broken targets. Due to a malfunction, she had to finish her round with a borrowed scattergun from squad leader Stuart Gepp. Undaunted by the misfortune, she showed great competitive spirit by finishing at the top of the Ladies leaderboard.

Freehold Fin, Fur, and Feather Club sent three squads to our fundraiser, the most of any club represented, with several shooting at Lehigh for the first time. "Dusters And Missers" Squad #4, comprised of 4F Club members Joe Johnson, Tom Ward, Gordon Haskell, and Stephen Ferraro took the High Squad trophies with an 81 average score. Squad leader Joe Johnson won the High Man trophy for breaking 90 targets. Closest score to Johnson's was fellow 4F Club member Greg Belanger's 86 broken targets, followed by CNJFO's Rosenthal and Arose (Squad #1) tying for the 3rd place finish with 84 broke. Honorable mention goes to CNJFO member and squad #2 leader Stuart Gepp for 83 broken targets.

No matter their scores, everyone that participated is a winner in our books! We thank them for their patriotism AND their support of our mission to end NJ's unconstitutional "Justifiable Need", the provision that basically says you need to be "connected" OR killed to be a CCW permit holder in the Communist People's Republic of New Jerseystan. For more info on "Justifiable Need", please visit: www.JustifiableNeed.com .

CNJFO VP Dave Rosenthal will attend this Sunday's 4F Club Trap Shoot in Freehold Twp., NJ to award the five trophies. The 4F Club has been supporting us at past events, and this fact has just recently come to light. We'd like to publicly thank 4F Club member Chris Marron for introducing 4F Club members to NJ's busiest 2A organization by bringing some friends to hunt pheasants with us at Giberson Farms (we'll be there on Sat. February 6th, 2021! -- Sign-Up HERE: www.cnjfo.com/event-4052517 ).

Darin Goens, in his official capacity as NRA-ILA's NJ Director, made Coalition history by attending our Clays Tournament and brought several handsome backpacks for our prize table. Goens couldn't stay for the raffle, but did want to let everyone know he & NRA-ILA appreciates their continued support in our battleground state.

Cheryl Sloan-Malitz and Lorraine Crescimanno, both from The Well Armed Woman Chapters, shot clays with their husbands Howard & Len. The foursome had a wonderful time and we thank our 2A sisters for their steadfast support. Lorraine & Len Crescimanno hunted hogs with us in April of last year and she's registered for our next Hog Hunt this January 3rd. You too can register for the Hunt HERE: www.cnjfo.com/event-3676112

We're also proud to report some good-hearted "vandalism" took place in the Lehigh parking lot to Rosey's car. Affectionately known to many as "The War Wagon", an overstuffed, nearly-antique Mercury Grand Marquis with a 6-Body trunk & HUGE backseat, Rosey's ride is the official "CNJFO swagmobile". As such it became the victim of sign maker Angelo Yacone and CNJFO sponsor Black Bag Resources' owner Sean Fisher, both friends of the "Vic". The pair of miscreants conspired to adorn the vehicle with magnetic signage that lets the NJDOT know there's EXPLOSIVES contained therein. Dan Grdovic, CNJFO President, was in on the caper and advised Fisher when to execute "Operation Lehigh" with the help of his younger son (see photos, lol!).

CNJFO prides itself on our relationships with our sponsors, and wishes to thank the following for their donations and raffle prizes:

Henry Repeating Arms --- Mugs, hats, keychains, patches

Gun For Hire --- Goody Bags w/ lots of useful items

    NRA-ILA --- Backpacks & Goody Bag stuffers

A GIRL & A GUN HOLDS 1ST SHOOT AT RTSP's UNION RANGE! NJ WOMEN-ONLY SHOOTING GROUP OFF TO A GREAT START!

by David "Rosey" Rosenthal, Black Wire Media Editor in-Chief

    Thur. Nov. 12, 2020 www.cnjfo.com/join-us

3-Gunnin' Grandma Ronnie Siegel Mark started New Jersey's only "A Girl & A Gun" Women's Shooting League chapter in her living room, and then Covid shut down every range in the state. Undeterred, Mark got a group of women together to learn the fundamentals of gun handling and safety. Last night at RTSP's Union, NJ range, about a dozen and a half women from all walks of life engaged paper targets, became EMPOWERED, and had FUN while they LEARNED the basics. Mark told us the group photo shows only half of their registered members, and they're still growing!

After the live-fire training, the women shooters league was given a classroom where Mark demonstrated proper dry-fire techniques and then conducted personalized one-on-one dry-fire lessons with each shooter based upon shooting observations in the range. Improvements in grip, stance and breathing will make an impact, build confidence and increase the FUN factor too! So far the league has four Range Officers: Ronnie, her husband John, Kim Snyder, and Linda Mitchell. Snyder and Mitchell work with the first-timers. Plans are to conduct two shoots a month so everyone gets to shoot.

The Coalition of New Jersey Firearm Owners is proud to recognize this commitment to women's shooting and hopes to interview some of these remarkable women soon. Mark took one of the league members under her wing, and the pair recently shot a static steel match in nearby Guthsville, PA. To learn more about this dynamic group, please visit:

SINGLE MOM DIDN'T FIRE A SHOT AT ZERO-DARK-THIRTY! STATES NEED FOR CCW, SAYS LEGAL GUNS AREN'T A PROBLEM!

by Dave "Rosey" Rosenthal, Black Wire Media Editor in-Chief

    Tues. Nov. 3, 2020 www.cnjfo.com/join-us

Sussex County, New Jersey Deputy Freeholder Director Dawn Fantasia, a single mother of 3, is awakened at Zero Dark Thirty by unwanted parties on her property exiting their vehicle. Pistol in-hand, she calls 911 from her bedside at 2:30am and her local Police respond in 5 minutes. They do a thorough perimeter check, finding neither the vehicle or its unwanted occupants, chat about her having a pistol is a good thing, and clear the scene. 18 months ago, the unarmed Fantasia would have been a fearful wreck. Not so this time, as she estimates she had only 1/10th of the fear since "I have the great equalizer---my Sig Sauer pistol"!

Fantasia is very astute to the discriminatory practices of our state's leadership when it comes to gun control and how it affects lower and middle class New Jerseyians:

"The Red Tape and hoops you have to jump through, the months of waiting, Governor Murphy's BLATANT (attempted) discriminatory fee schedule ($200+ for 1st gun--Ed.) is nothing more than a GUN CONTROL SCHEME! When NJ residents need guns the most, they're BLOCKED! Covid was used to shut down all the gun stores and ranges; that's unconstitutional. Legal guns aren't the problem, they never were!"---Dawn Fantasia

Her journey into firearms ownership started just 18 months ago, when she was invited to attend a sporting clays fundraiser at Lehigh Valley Sporting Clays in Coplay, PA. (the same venue we're holding our CNJFO fundraiser on Sunday Nov. 15th (www.cnjfo.com/Event-4007823). With law enforcement officers and hunters in her family, she's been around firearms virtually her entire life, but had never shot before. That changed 18 months ago with a simple invite and getting over any fears.

Shooting sporting clays was as much fun as it was eye-opening. For the first time in her life she felt "empowered" by a firearm. You KNOW that feeling, every gun owner does. The ability to stand up and declare you won't be a victim because you have learned to use a tool for survival.

"I'm there, I'm surrounded by all these men, and I wasn't comfortable--at first. That changed rather quickly. They accepted me, showed me what to do and were very encouraging. I got comfortable, something I've found (since that day) is really easy to do with the shooting community. People that shoot are so NICE! I was hooked and wanted to protect my family. That's when I bought my Sig!"---Dawn Fantasia

Fantasia picked up her .380 Sig P238 compact at Pequest Sporting Goods and loves the magazines with built-in extension so she can wrap her pinky finger around the grip for better control of the compact pistol. Her wish list includes a 9mm Sig P226 and a 20 gauge shotgun. We weighed-in on her excellent choices, suggesting a 20 ga. youth model, gas-operated semi-auto shotgun with a rubber butt pad for both correct "fit" and reduced recoil (she had a bruise from not knowing how to shoot a 12 ga.).

Realizing that firearms ownership comes with responsibility, Fantasia sought out hand gun training with NRA Training Counselor Paul Raynolds. The full-day NRA Pistol class was held at the Association of New Jersey Rifle & Pistol Clubs Cherry Ridge Range in Highland Lakes, Vernon Twp., NJ. She posted a photo of her certificate on her Facebook page, so we borrowed it (see images).

A staunch 2nd Amendment proponent, Fantasia practices at Gun For Hire and at Reloaderz-NJ ranges, often bringing her 17 year old daughter, who's really accepting of the shooting lifestyle. Recently Dawn doubled her target distance to 10 yards while still maintaining decent groups with her compact Sig. She's shot other guns, including long guns at these ranges (see photos).

CNJFO strongly believes that women and their offspring will save our precious 2nd Amendment, since it's usually the Mom that forbids firearms in the home. By getting more moms to the range, we have a better chance of Anthony Colandro's "EACH ONE, REACH ONE!" mantra taking effect.

Most ranges have women-only shooting clubs, so it's even easier these days. Check out the Second Amendment Women Shooting Club (http://sawshootingclub.com) based at the Gun For Hire Woodland Park Range and The Well Armed Woman has 5 chapters in NJ:

https://twawshootingchapters.org/find-a-local-chapter . So please help us and bring a new person to the range SOON! You never know---YOU might empower THEM to do what Dawn Fantasia did!

ANTI-GUN MEDIA BIAS FAILS TO EXPLORE THE REAL PROBLEM!  CAN A PATERSON, NJ "BANGER" CATCH A BREAK OR WHAT?

by John Petrolino for Black Wire Media Sun. Nov. 1, 2020 www.cnjfo.com/join-us

Mince no words about it, New Jersey is anti-freedom and thus, they are anti Second Amendment. There is a conspiracy between all branches of government and the media, the fourth estate is a co-conspirator in these antics. Any chance they get, they will paint the most grotesque or negative picture they can.

From Patterson New Jersey, October 28, 2020, “The Daily Voice” reported in a headline:

“Paterson PD: Boy, 15, Caught Carrying Pair Of High-Powered Handguns, Magazines, More”

Even at first glance, there is no doubt that this is involving criminal behavior, but that behavior does not let the Patterson PD or “The Daily Voice” off the hook as far as accurate reporting goes. A closer read of the article states:

“A 15-year-old Paterson boy was caught carrying two handguns with large-capacity magazines, authorities said.”

    And further:

“Both are 9mm semi-automatic Taurus handguns fitted with fully-loaded high-capacity magazines...”

These biases and optics are carefully crafted and it’s important to take note. The media does everything and anything in their power to associate firearms with a further, often times erroneous, negative connotation.

Granted, this news article would be breezed over by many, as its just another criminal, doing criminal things in New Jersey…Which begs another question, a digression, “Why are 15 year old’s running around with guns in Patterson New Jersey?” What is going on there? And why does Patterson not have their house in order? Sounds like the leadership in Patterson needs to be approached about what is going wrong in their City.

The negative optics in this piece revolve around considering 9mm handguns to be “high-powered”, as the headline tries to hook in uninitiated readers. No place on the planet are 9mm Taurus handguns in any way “high-powered”. Okay, if you’re comparing them to BB guns, also “firearms” in New Jersey, sure. But to every other freedom loving gun owner in America, no. This labeling of the arms as “high-powered” is patently fake, phony, and false.

Also worth exploring is the magazine capacity of the arms being “high-capacity.” Its doubtful that a 15 year old that was illegally concealing two pistols was able to do so with “high-capacity” magazines in the guns. They’d be too long. However, in New Jersey, anything over ten rounds is considered “high-capacity”. More negative optics, as ten rounds is below the threshold of standard capacity in many pistols in The United States. Oftentimes 15 or 17+ rounds are “standard”. The article failed to mention how high the high-capacity of these guns in fact were.

Bravo to Patterson PD and “The Daily Voice.” You have added another piece of false facts into media circulation for those that don’t know any better to consume.

    EDITOR's NOTE:

Yes, we did this to start a conversation! What the hell is going-on in the "Hood" of Paterson, NJ that 15 year olds need to carry TWO 9mm hand guns? Gang initiation? Selling a gun illegally? What about the defaced gun with missing serial number being a federal crime with FEDERAL TIME? Will he "give-up" his supplier and get a PLEA DEAL? Is this his first scuffle with the LAW? Is he a hardened criminal with a violent past that's been locked-up before OR did he have to do what he did so a family member wouldn't be murdered? Where is the REAL "Meat & Potatoes" of the story that readers need to know? It's all MISSING! And that leaves the low-education reader to BLAME THE GUN!

Guns are BAD and only bad people and the Cops have GUNZ? See what we did there?

Staffer John Petrolino is an author, writer, and NRA Firearms Instructor. He's "HIGH CAPACITY", and his pieces make you THINK! We're glad to have this Merchant Marine on-board, pointing-out what main stream media outlets seldom, if ever, do. We hope you like his articles as much as we do publishing them. Ammoland, The Truth About Guns,  The Shore News Network and other pro-2A outlets are also honored to receive his work.
