JUST ANOTHER "KAREN" ASKING FOR THE MANAGER!
WHEN "GUN CONTROL" BITES THE KARENS IN THE ASS!

by Black Wire Media Sun. Mar. 29, 2020 www.cnjfo.com/join-us

You wanted "common-sense" gun control Karen from Moms Demand Action, so welcome to it! You hoarded toilet paper & disinfectant spray. You cleaned-out the meats so grocery chains had to count your chickens at the checkout like communist Cuba! You voted for GUN CONTROL because it FEELS GOOD, not because of FACTS. YOUR Governor ordered the jails to throw the gates open and let the prisoners OUT! And now you're PISSED when the very hoops, the very stumbling blocks, the very laws, rules and mandatory "this & that's" rear their ugly heads when YOU wanna buy your first firearm? Too bad Karen!

NJ GOV. DOUBLES-DOWN ON GUN SHOPS CLOSURES!

by Black Wire Media Sat. Mar. 28, 2020 www.cnjfo.com/join-us

New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy touts State Police protection, pointing to holstered sidearms worn by Troopers on his security detail with him at press conferences, and then when questioned about turning the faucet back on for the NJ NICS portal ("INSTANT" Background Check System), says in effect, "TOUGH, I'VE MADE MY DECISION!". Several suits have been filed in Federal Court. And noted 2A authority Cam Edwards has hinted that Dept. of Homeland Security may make a pronouncement that gun stores are ESSENTIAL. Our Communications Director Theresa Inacker with another powerful Op-Ed. Enjoy! ---The Editors

WHY IS EVERYBODY ELSE IN TRENTON SQUEEMISH ON 2A??

by Black Wire Media Friday Mar. 27, 2020 www.cnjfo.com/join-us

Oroho, Wirths, Testa, and CNJFO Hog Hunter Parker F. Space are fighting Governor Murphy's shutdown of the instant check system to do criminal background checks for gun permits. Why isn't the entire legislature? All we're hearing is CRICKETS! If we missed any, tell us & we'll gladly add them to this small number of constitutional patriots! Maybe they think it's not worth the "political capital" to rise against the Dictator of New Jersey & his henchmen? New Jersey needs more leaders like these four!

NJ STATE NRA ASSOC. FILES MOTION ON NICS!
    ANJRPC PILES-ON WITH A 3RD FED. LAWSUIT!

by Black Wire Media Friday Mar. 27, 2020 www.cnjfo.com/join-us

In a legal maneuver resembling a one-two punch, the Association of New Jersey Rifle & Pistol Clubs (ANJRPC) responded with their own lawsuit ( https://cdn.ymaws.com/…/legal_…/anjrpc_sues_nj_complaint.pdf
) challenging the entire shutdown of the background check system portal the State Police have (needlessly) run for years. Using an Executive Order on COVID-19 as a false front, our Governor's answer to "the Reporter", then smirking about it at a press conference with his arms crossed when called-out on it by NJ2AS's Alex Roubian, our state NRA Association (ANJRPC) did then use the Governor's own remarks to Roubian as part of their suit:

"Governor Murphy has even admitted that his assault on the Second Amendment was motivated by his hatred of guns, not by safety concerns about Coronavirus. When asked just yesterday by a reporter why he didn’t deem gun stores to be “essential,” he stated “a safer society for my taste has fewer guns and not more guns.” He said nothing about Coronavirus, which is apparently just a pretext for shutting down the Second Amendment." ---ANJRPC official statement

In addition to the lawsuits piling-up over the NICS portal shutdown ---the national NICS is still fully functional btw--- our state NRA Association did file a "PLAINTIFFS’ BRIEF IN SUPPORT OF THEIR MOTION FOR A TEMPORARY RESTRAINING ORDER AND/OR PRELIMINARY INJUNCTION". This vitally important document seeks "injunctive RELIEF" (rather IMMEDIATE!) and can be read here: https://cdn.ymaws.com/…/lega…/anjrpc_sues_nj_legal_brief.pdf

The Second Amendment Foundation spearheaded a lawsuit against the NICS shutdown, filing it yesterday with multiple plaintiffs including CNJFO sponsor Legacy Indoor Range and Armory, Legend Firearms, Robert Kashinsky and other individuals, Firearms Policy Coalition (FPC) and NJ2AS. It can be viewed here: https://documentcloud.adobe.com/link/track…

When reached for comment, Melissa Deeney, co-owner of Plaintiff Legacy Indoor Range & Armory in Cinnaminson, NJ had this to say:

"I'm happy to see so many suits aligned against this blatant attack on our 2A rights. The most upsetting part for me personally is the first time buyers. They have been vetted by the state, have their FID (after usually months) and permits - and we cannot help them. All the state has to do is let us use the Federal System directly or allow the NICS State team to work remotely. Instead they shut down the ability to submit new checks. Our entire queue (customer list of transfers awaiting approvals--Ed.) of Friday (3/20) and Saturday (3/21) work was warned that they may not come back before the anticipated shut down. They are all in limbo. The one that upsets me the most is a woman who came in for her first purchase... Fear is palpable... She still can't have her firearm because the state shut NICS down at the state level." ---Melissa Deeney, Legacy Indoor Range & Armory

As more news breaks we'll be sure to give it to you, as always with our expert analysis & opinion.

ANJRPC FILES LAWSUIT, MOTION TO STOP GOV MURPHY’S ATTACK ON SECOND AMENDMENT RIGHTS

    As reported by ANJRPC:

“Motion Filed Today to Stop the Shutdown

ANJRPC Prepared to Go to U.S. Supreme Court

Murphy Admits 2A Shutdown is not about Coronavirus!

March 26, 2020. Yesterday, ANJRPC filed a federal lawsuit to end NJ Governor Phil Murphy’s unilateral shutdown of the Second Amendment by executive order, supposedly because of the Coronavirus. Today, ANJRPC filed a motion in that lawsuit asking a U.S. District Court Judge to block enforcement of Murphy’s order.

Click here for copy of ANJRPC’s complaint in the case: https://cdn.ymaws.com/…/legal_…/anjrpc_sues_nj_complaint.pdf

Click the link below for a copy of ANJRPC’s motion to block enforcement of Murphy’s executive order: https://cdn.ymaws.com/…/lega…/anjrpc_sues_nj_legal_brief.pdf

These actions were made necessary by Gov. Murphy’s executive order 107 on March 21, in which he unilaterally shuttered gun stores, gun ranges, and shut down NICS, effectively switching off the Second Amendment to NJ’s 9 million residents with the stroke of a pen.

ANJRPC is prepared to take this new case all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court if necessary. The Second Amendment was designed precisely for the kind of emergency America now faces, to insure that law-abiding citizens would have the means to provide for their own safety if necessary. The idea that a single public official can simply turn gun rights off is absurd on its face.

What’s more, Governor Murphy’s overt hatred for the Second Amendment is laid bare in his executive order, which ironically declares that non-vital retailers like liquor stores, marijuana dispensaries, and cell phone stores are “essential” and therefore can stay open, while gun stores and ranges and the NICS system are not “essential” and must close.

Governor Murphy has even admitted that his assault on the Second Amendment was motivated by his hatred of guns, not by safety concerns about Coronavirus. When asked just yesterday by a reporter why he didn’t deem gun stores to be “essential,” he stated “a safer society for my taste has fewer guns and not more guns.” He said nothing about Coronavirus, which is apparently just a pretext for shutting down the Second Amendment.

The legal team representing ANJRPC includes longtime ANJRPC attorney Dan Schmutter, and Washington, D.C. based David Thompson. Both are extremely accomplished in their fields, and very well-respected in the courts. Gun owners are lucky to have them on this case.

CNJFO FOUGHT TYRANNY THEN, WE FIGHT FOR US ALL NOW!
2 YRS AGO NO ONE SAW THE COVID-19 POWER GRAB COMING!

by Black Wire Media Thurs. Mar. 26, 2020 www.cnjfo.com/join-us

Two years ago today marks a historic occasion. We band of rowdy frozen 2A Patriots marched on Trenton, NJ (our state capitol), held a Second Amendment Rally at the War Memorial across from the State House, then walked to the 1911 Smokehouse BBQ. CNJFO's Communications Director Theresa Inacker wrote a speech and spoke on our behalf. We meant every word THEN and we mean every word NOW! Gun rights are WOMENS RIGHTS! They were THEN, are NOW & forever shall BE. COVID-19 be damned, since when is buying a Danish more "ESSENTIAL" than buying firearms? Last year we chanted "THRU IN 22!" With NICS shut down 22 can't come soon enough!

CNJFO's WING-DING PIZZA PARTY MEET & GREET ON HOLD!
MANVILLE PIZZA OPEN DURING CRISIS w/ CURBSIDE PICK-UP!

by Black Wire Media Thurs. Mar. 26, 2020 www.cnjfo.com/join-us

The world is upside down, social distancing is the order of the day, and yet as responsible citizens we need to make sure we have what it takes to get through the struggle that is COVID-19. That struggle is mental, physical and emotional. We all yearn for NORMAL to return to our lives. Part of the Coalition's "normal" is our annual "Wing-Ding Pizza Party and Meet & Greet held each April at Manville Pizza and Restaurant est. 1969. Owner Anthony D'Aniello, a NRA Benefactor Life Member & CNJFO sponsor, met with Coalition Vice President Dave Rosenthal a few weeks ago to discuss a date so we could once again pack the restaurant with over 40 2A Patriots. Obviously that fell by the wayside with the Governor's E.O. caused by COVID-19.

When life as we knew it returns, we'll hopefully be announcing plans to hold this Party where friendships are made, non gun owning fence-sitters brought by Patriot friends are introduced to our community, and folks JOIN or RENEW their memberships in a fun, TASTY & convenient way at this annual fundraiser. In the meantime, with our own state Government continually plotting against us, SHUTTING DOWN ALL FIREARMS TRANSFERS outside of direct family (not just buying retail), our efforts doubled to bring you the latest 2A news & views. As lawsuits get filed on our behalf, CNJFO will reach into our coffers to help.

With social distancing in place, indoor functions are suspended, and with it goes MOST of our fundraising, but our monthly expenses continue. In these trying times, we must ask for you to please consider JOINING or RENEWING your membership if you can see your way clear to do so. Current members can add a year to their expiration date by simply renewing before they get an invoice. Don't worry, no one is being removed from our email list! We understand.

WE DON'T SELL PIZZA & WINGS! CALL THE RESTAURANT!

You'll recall CNJFO ran a story about door-to-door ammo sales and we received almost a dozen inquiries asking if we sold ammo & what stock we had. So, in an effort to fend-off any miscommunication, you are hereby advised to CALL MANVILLE PIZZA TO ORDER FOOD! Their number is: 908-526-1194.

Thanks for supporting those that support YOU!

PERP ARRESTED FOR SWATTING NJ GUN OWNER!
HOWELL TWP. NJ PD ADVISED VICTIM OF ARREST!

by Black Wire Media Wed. Mar. 25, 2020 www.cnjfo.com/join-us

Getting "proned-out" & handcuffed at gun point isn't a life experience Patrick Gleason and his family were looking forward to on the way to the library & gun range. The Howell Twp. Police acted professionally on February 21st and Gleason has nothing but high praise for the Dept. Yesterday Gleason contacted us and gave an exclusive statement following the arrest of an individual that allegedly swatted his family.

"An arrest is an arrest. When there is definitive justice, as in a conviction, THEN I would (like to be quoted--Ed.). While I believe the Police have the proper person, innocent until proven guilty is the law of the land". ---Patrick Gleason

Gleason said he was cleaning his guns yesterday when the Police called him to notify him an arrest had been made in the case. As more information becomes available, we'll pass it along to our readership.

UPDATE! FROM HOWELL TWP. PD Facebook page 9pm Wednesday:

    "ARREST MADE!!!

False Gun Call Results in Felony Stop of Howell Family
Who remembers the incident back on February 8th when a felony motor vehicle stop was conducted on a family headed to the gun range?

For those who don’t, I recommend you review the previous post. For all others, I am proud to announce after a lengthy investigation, 32 year old Howell resident FREDERICK T. ESPOSITO was arrested by Howell Police Detective Anthony Romano.

Since the incident, Detective Romano made it his priority to find the person responsible for this cruel act upon this family. Although I will not go into the specific details, it was very impressive how this investigation culminated into this arrest. It was complex and required hours of reviewing information obtained through court orders, documents and conducting interviews.

Yesterday, ESPOSITO turned himself in with his attorney. He was charged with the criminal offense Causing a False Alarm and False Reports to Law Enforcement. Both are second degree crimes. Esposito was lodged into Monmouth County Correctional Institution.

Coincidentally, on February 27, Howell Police Crime Suppression Detectives executed a search warrant at Esposito’s residence in Point of Woods after a narcotics investigation. Esposito was arrested for possession and distribution of marijuana.

I didn’t mention it then but I will now. One of the occupants of that vehicle was a 17 year who has special needs. That incident scared the hell out of him. My officers handled that situation with compassion and professionalism. The next day, he and his mother came to headquarters to thank all of us. He loves the police. It’s frightening to think what the alternative outcome could have been on that stop. All because a person who has no regard for the law or his neighbors decided to seek revenge against this family.

I’m very proud of Detective Romano. He’s a shark. If I’m a victim, I want Detective Romano to be on the case. If I’m a suspect, I’m seeking a good attorney.

This is another example of the extraordinary work by Howell officers who proudly wear the badge. They are committed to their jobs. They are committed to community.

    -Chief Kudrick"
