ILLINOIS SENATOR THREATENS AR-15 CONFISCATION!
IS THIS THE BATTLE CRY FOR THE 2ND REVOLUTION?

At an Illinois Town Hall event on June 11th, an AR-15 gun owner raised concerns about proposed unconstitutional fines that gun owners would be forced to pay. State Senator Julie Morrison (D) offered her “solution” …GUN CONFISCATION! Here's an exact quote, as reported by major media outlets:

"The gun owner then asked, “If I get to keep it–if I pay a fine and register it–then, how dangerous is it in the first place and why do you need to ban it all?”

People in attendance (at the Town Hall--Ed) applauded the gun owner’s point and once applause died Morrison said, “Well, you just maybe changed my mind. Maybe we won’t have a fine at all, maybe it’ll just be a CONFISCATION and we won’t have to worry about paying the fine.”

IS THIS THE TIPPING POINT OF 2019?

How and when did it become the norm for politicians, our political representatives, think it is ok to threaten the Citizens of this great Republic? It is a shocking time that the liberal leaning left political machine feels embolden to embark on this course of discourse with their constituents.

The definition of tyranny is - cruel, unreasonable, or arbitrary use of power or control. That is what we are seeing today, that is what is happening with the State level representation based on the comments above. So, when the time of civil discourse becomes the time of threats, unless you comply with illegal laws, that is tyranny.

Politicians need to just look back to history to see, that while they claim that their pen is much mightier than the sword, the inverse of that statement is the absolute truth. They can craft legislation, they can attempt to levy fines, they can attempt to seize legally owned items – all by the stroke of a pen and their collusive fiat. They are uncontrovertibly incorrect in their assumptions and power that they think they ultimately wield.

Thomas Jefferson stated at his first inaugural address the following - “ All . . . will bear in mind this sacred principle, that though the will of the majority is in all cases to prevail, that will to be rightful must be reasonable; that the minority possess their equal rights, which equal law must protect and to violate would be oppression.

Our elected "Masters" are ignoring our Constitutionally enumerated rights - they are trampling on the rights of the people of this Republic at every turn, and flagrantly ignoring their oaths of office. We have descended to tyranny. It has been stated that when tyranny becomes law, rebellion becomes duty. Is this not the case? Is this that far from the truth? How and when does a civil discourse, become a one-way threat and mandate by those in ‘power’– that has no response? Oppression as defined by Jefferson at his inaugural address.

The indignant souls that the PEOPLE elect should do well to know that the inverse of the statement that the pen is mightier than the sword, is the absolute truth. The sword is always mightier than the pen, when used by a civilian population with the will to resist illegal laws and an out of control government.

Our Representatives should look back to history to see this is the case, they should look back to our own history. In the month of April of 1775, the Politicians & Government in control, thought it rightful to confiscate legally owned items from citizens. These armed Government forces were met head on by duly armed citizen militia protecting their rights granted to them by God and not yet enumerated in the yet to be born Constitution.

When the history of that time is read, we see Citizens standing their ground and were ordered not to molest those forces, unless they begin first. It is consistent with what we have today, a law-abiding citizenry, yielding way to an illegally contrived force of governmental agents looking to impose their illegal will on a group of citizens.

Yet on that morning when regular governmental forces, not provoked - see, approach and fire upon the citizens, we have a young Lt. Wm Tidd. It has been described as follows - “Today businessmen, philosophers, and historians try to find and define what they call a tipping point. A tipping point is a particular point, philosophy, or action that creates an imbalance. The one thing that takes place to move a business, a life, an activity, or an entity from a position of flux or balance to a position of imbalance, causing it to move rapidly forward gaining momentum as it goes.

I believe, very early in the morning of April 19, 1775 there was a point of balance as the Regulars and Captain Parker’s Company faced each other on Lexington Green. At that point a young 38-year-old Lieutenant in Captain Parker’s Company named William Tidd caused a tipping point to occur. He stepped forward from his position in line, and facing a sea of redcoats, he raised his musket, exclaiming loud and clear, what was in a way the philosophy of a whole society, when he said, “YOU WON’T GET MY GUN”.

Politicians would do well to note that many Americans hold the same philosophy today as in that early morning of April of 1775 – we are sadly approaching another possible tipping point. New Jersey has "William Tidds" by the bushel and some are tired of the "Jersey Two-Step" when those we elect scream into hot mics, "CONFISCATE, CONFISCATE, CONFISCATE"!
