CNJFO TEAM BUILDING FOR A BETTER FUTURE!
WILDWOOD-CAPE MAY TRIP YIELDS NEW IDEAS!

by Black Wire Media Monday July 29, 2019 www.cnjfo.com/join-us

Email and messaging are a great tool, but if you're looking to evaluate & train volunteers, and get comfortable enough with each other to "throw ideas out to see what sticks to the wall", then a team building exercise is a superior way to do it. The in-between moments, the nuances of interaction yield extraordinary opportunities. The comfort level is so much more beneficial to the outcome in an environment such as what the Executive Committee of the Coalition of New Jersey Firearm Owners did provide over this last weekend at the Jersey Cape.

Organized by & hosted at Communications Director Theresa Inacker's shore house at the Cape, with logistical support from VP Dave Rosenthal and Saturday night Cook-Out menu planning by Chef Eric Saperstein (our Youth Day at-the-Range Chair), members of our Committee, including Trustee Jan Knepper, held a planning session of sorts and pledged to carry-out some of the very things they came up with, and we put other ideas "on the back burner" until such time as we have more volunteers to accomplish our ever-expanding "Wish List".

Events included Dutch-Treat activities in Cape May commencing with 5-star dining at 410 Bank Street Restaurant on Friday evening, followed by shopping at the Washington Street Mall. Several of us hit the beach & swam in the Atlantic after brunching on Briton Bakery's oven-fresh apple fritters. Our first-ever team-building fishing trip sailed out of the Miss Chris slip along the Intercoastal Waterway & out several miles into the Atlantic. Although we didn't get any "keepers", Ronnie Mark hooked a skate, as did Lee Ollivier, and several of us, including first-timer Theresa Inacker reeled-in undersized flounder, all thrown-back.

Our seagoing Patriots also got to see Cape May Lighthouse, the WW2 submarine lookout tower museum, SS Atlantis at the end of Sunset Drive, the Cape May Ferry slip, and several other sites from the water including the US Coast Guard Academy & USCG Group Cape May.

CNJFO is growing and is a force to be reckoned with, especially after submitting our second amicus brief to the US Supreme Court. We need more of our readers to become members and more members to VOLUNTEER some time at what they're good at, so we continue to expand our operations and hopefully help to orchestrate much-needed changes to NJ gun law. CNJFO membership DOESN'T REQUIRE NJ RESIDENCY, and since we're fighting at the Supreme Court level, the OUTCOME of our TIRELESS EFFORTS will be enjoyed IN ALL 50 STATES! Won't YOU please help us by joining, renewing, and/or volunteering TODAY? Thanks for your attention and hope you'll JOIN us in this FIGHT FOR GUN RIGHTS! www.cnjfo.com
