NY STATE R&P ASSN. SCOTUS CASE LIVES ANOTHER DAY!
ANALYSIS OF THE ATTEMPT THUS FAR IN "MOOTING" THE CASE!

The attempt by the anti-gunners to dismiss the case as moot (since NYC changed its' ruling forbidding the transport of a hand gun out of the five boroughs for ANY viable reason, including use & repair of same), thusly avoiding having the case heard on the merits, was DENIED earlier today by the U.S. Supreme Court. This means the case will proceed further. The Court hinted that the mootness issue will also be dealt with. This could have good or bad consequences just like any case. One cannot predict how the Court will rule, but at least the case was not dismissed before the merits could be analyzed. Onward we go! The question of mootness will be handled during oral arguments and both sides were so informed to be fully prepared. This demonstrates the interconnectedness of many Constitutional rights and concepts when facing any Second Amendment challenge.
