Student-athletes suddenly have opportunities to earn income from endorsing products and services and licensing their name, image and likeness (“NIL”).
Now student-athletes should understand the law and what rules apply going forward. This workshop will explain the basics of NIL and endorsements.
Shooting sports are an NCAA sport and student-athletes can now accept endorsement deals (subject to some state laws prohibiting endorsement of alcohol or firearms, ironically enough). This seminar should be of interest to the youth members of CNJFO and their parents. This seminar is appropriate for both parents and students at any age that may be interested in joining an NCAA team - whether in the shooting disciplines or otherwise.
