BLAME THE FOOL, NOT THE TOOL! WHEN WILL WE EVER LEARN?
KALI GUN CONTROL SO TIGHT, THEY HAVE TO USE KNIVES!

by Hugh Kearney for Black Wire Media Monday August 12, 2019 www.cnjfo.com/join-us

CNJFO supporter, NRA Instructor, Gun Guru and NJ Pink Card holder (can sell guns via retail license) Hugh Kearney was recently quoted as saying, "See point proven...even all the restrictive laws on the books and the evil person finds a way to KILL. but; its the KNIFE'S FAULT, he had a short handle growing up and was picked on, he needs help. See that's how stupid you sound when you blame a tool." With 4 killed does this incident qualify as a "MASS KNIFING"? Is THAT a THING now too? How about we institute "no-knock raids" for custom kitchen knives that have EVIL FEATURES like LONG BLADES for cutting, strong handles that don't break when chopping BONES?

CNJFO "MAKES AIR" ON CNN TOWN HALL LAST NIGHT!
INACKER ASKS THE PANEL ONLY PRO-GUN QUESTION!

by Black Wire Media Thursday August 8, 2019 www.cnjfo.com/join-us

CNJFO Communications Director Theresa Inacker asked the only pro-gun, pro 2nd Amendment question of the entire national broadcast on last night's CNN Town Hall "America Under Assault: The Gun Crisis" hosted by Chris Cuomo! Inacker asked Cuomo and the panel of 2 consisting of the former Philadelphia, PA Police Commissioner and a Brady campaign spokesperson, "Do you believe a woman has a right to chose whether or not to defend her own body? And in the manner she chooses? And the government should NOT interfere with that decision?" Inacker's question caught all three men off-guard, with the Police Commissioner agreeing that deadly force is sometimes necessary and Cuomo admitting he owned a gun!

Last night's appearance on CNN came about because an assistant producer at the network sought-out CNJFO Vice President David "Rosey" Rosenthal, asking him to appear on the Town Hall and invited Rosenthal to submit three questions for the panelists. Rosenthal, realizing that Inacker stood a better chance of "making AIR" (getting to ask a question), immediately asked the assistant producer if Inacker could attend in his place. The end result is they both were invited & submitted questions on an electronic form, in advance of the show airing. Although all three of his questions remain unasked, here is what Rosenthal submitted:

    1. "If the next five unconstitutional gun laws stop the problem of mass shootings and murder WILL YOU STOP promoting gun control?"

    2. "Who exactly is going door-to-door to confiscate legally-purchased personal property in the name of "feel-good legislation" and are the criminals that use illegal guns against society going to be visited FIRST or will the legal, law-abiding, registered gun owners be disarmed and made vulnerable to the criminal element? In what Utopia is this scheme going to work?"

    3. "There's over 20,000 gun control laws on the books throughout America. Crafted mostly by Politicians that say things like this, "What makes guns so special, we vote on things we know nothing about all the time!" --NJ State Senator Loretta Weinberg direct quote. So when do we start having a serious discussion whereby the law-abiding gun owner isn't locked-up because a new law makes them an instant felon before the ink is dry?"

In addition to Inacker and Rosenthal, CNJFO President Matt Andras was in the audience sandwiched between a slew of "Brady Campaign" paid lobbyists. Andras and Rosenthal tried to drive to Tony Simon's house (CNJFO got him an official invite also), but due to torrential rains & flooded streets, couldn't pick up Simon to drive to NYC.

Representing a pro-2nd Amendment viewpoint on the national stage is both an honor and an awesome responsibility. The Coalition will always strive to represent legal, law-abiding gun owners everywhere. As a federal & NJ state non-profit, tax-exempt corporation we can accept gifts in any amount from all 50 states. We NEED YOUR HELP TO WIN, so please consider a monthly planned gift, a one-time donation, or a membership in NJ's busiest 2nd Amendment group by visiting www.cnjfo.com/Donate

WILL MORE GUN CONTROL STOP THE SHOOTINGS?
AS MEDIA FANS THE FLAMES, WE LOOK TO HISTORY!

By Tony Simon with Black Wire Media reprinted w/ permission of the author
    www.cnjfo.com/join-us Monday August 5, 2019

There will be anti-civil rights legislation pushed under the guise of "safety" and "common sense gun control ". The government couldn't stop the first mass shooting. Government didn't stop the latest mass shooting and government won't stop the next mass shooting. Disarming citizens has nothing to do with "public safety ". The government historically has victimized people of multiple cultures and ethnicities. Don't give away your civil rights for the illusion of safety.

4 GUN GROUPS JOIN & FILE AMICUS BRIEF FOR CHEESEMAN!
THEIR BRIEF BOLSTERS CLAIM OF UNCONSTITUTIONALITY!

by Black Wire Media Friday August 2, 2019 www.cnjfo.com/join-us

Will NJ's "Justifiable Need" Rule, the rule of convenience when "the system" (read Police Chiefs, Prosecutors, DA's & Superior Court Judges) DENIES your right to protect yourself outside your property line, then holds itself harmless after a motorcycle gang kidnaps you for the SECOND time in a case of mistaken identity (yes, it DID happen---in calm Sussex Co. NJ of all places), will that "NO-ISSUE" SCHEME finally be STRUCK-DOWN? Seems The Firearms Policy Coalition (FPC), Firearms Policy Foundation (FPF), Second Amendment Foundation (SAF), and California Gun Rights Foundation (CGF) all want an answer to that question!

In a move that took NJ by storm yesterday, as the clock ticked near the final hour of submission acceptance, these four esteemed gun rights organizations did submit a JOINT amicus brief (friend of-the-Court brief), bolstering OUR original amicus brief (CNJFO's) asking SCOTUS to grant CERT (hear the case)!

We proudly submitted our second brief in six months to the highest Court in the land last month, well within the submission window! We're proud to be in great company in support of Mark Cheeseman, for his is a case that can't be "mooted" by the issuance of a carry permit! You read that correctly! His case attacks the "Justifiable Need" SCHEME itself, and does so in such a dramatic way that four other organizations thought so highly of it AND OUR BRIEF, as to invest thousands of dollars to bring much-needed clarity before the Supreme Court of the United States! We salute these organizations and thank them for their outstanding and unwavering support of the Second Amendment!

CNJFO's EXEC. COMMITTEE DEFENDS GUN RIGHTS!
DO YOU KNOW HOW TO "SLICE THE PIE" IDPA-STYLE?

by Black Wire Media Tuesday July 30, 2019 www.cnjfo.com/join-us

Growing up in the 60's & 70's it was always easier to define the Enemy, the guy wearing the black mask over his face, trying to subvert the Constitution! Not so easy today. We have to deal with candidates on both sides "riding their high horses" supporting groups like Moms Demand! Today, gun owners in-the-know use the 2nd Amendment as a litmus test. Some of these folks do a great job at separating facts from fiction, but in today's fast-paced world most just copy & paste memes. You won't find THAT here at CNJFO! We provide you with ANALYSIS and give you the facts you need.

If an intruder broke into your residence, do you have the skill set to "slice-the-pie" & shoot from BEHIND COVER? If not, we recommend you give a local International Defensive Pistol Association (IDPA) league match a try. NJ has several ranges that sponsor this type of "Practical Shooting", and all of them are "beginner-friendly". Little Tommy here is using his living room couch as "soft cover" in this "pretend" gun fight, even has his hat exposed to draw incoming fire away from himself. There are NO RULES FOR HOME INVASIONS that the bad guys stick to when they play their deadly game. Learn the concepts little Tommy is using. Visit an IDPA match soon. Need training? Visit our good friend Stuart Gepp's site for a class he's holding on Saturday 9-14-19: https://idpa-intermediate.eventbrite.com/…

CNJFO TEAM BUILDING FOR A BETTER FUTURE!
WILDWOOD-CAPE MAY TRIP YIELDS NEW IDEAS!

by Black Wire Media Monday July 29, 2019 www.cnjfo.com/join-us

Email and messaging are a great tool, but if you're looking to evaluate & train volunteers, and get comfortable enough with each other to "throw ideas out to see what sticks to the wall", then a team building exercise is a superior way to do it. The in-between moments, the nuances of interaction yield extraordinary opportunities. The comfort level is so much more beneficial to the outcome in an environment such as what the Executive Committee of the Coalition of New Jersey Firearm Owners did provide over this last weekend at the Jersey Cape.

Organized by & hosted at Communications Director Theresa Inacker's shore house at the Cape, with logistical support from VP Dave Rosenthal and Saturday night Cook-Out menu planning by Chef Eric Saperstein (our Youth Day at-the-Range Chair), members of our Committee, including Trustee Jan Knepper, held a planning session of sorts and pledged to carry-out some of the very things they came up with, and we put other ideas "on the back burner" until such time as we have more volunteers to accomplish our ever-expanding "Wish List".

Events included Dutch-Treat activities in Cape May commencing with 5-star dining at 410 Bank Street Restaurant on Friday evening, followed by shopping at the Washington Street Mall. Several of us hit the beach & swam in the Atlantic after brunching on Briton Bakery's oven-fresh apple fritters. Our first-ever team-building fishing trip sailed out of the Miss Chris slip along the Intercoastal Waterway & out several miles into the Atlantic. Although we didn't get any "keepers", Ronnie Mark hooked a skate, as did Lee Ollivier, and several of us, including first-timer Theresa Inacker reeled-in undersized flounder, all thrown-back.

Our seagoing Patriots also got to see Cape May Lighthouse, the WW2 submarine lookout tower museum, SS Atlantis at the end of Sunset Drive, the Cape May Ferry slip, and several other sites from the water including the US Coast Guard Academy & USCG Group Cape May.

CNJFO is growing and is a force to be reckoned with, especially after submitting our second amicus brief to the US Supreme Court. We need more of our readers to become members and more members to VOLUNTEER some time at what they're good at, so we continue to expand our operations and hopefully help to orchestrate much-needed changes to NJ gun law. CNJFO membership DOESN'T REQUIRE NJ RESIDENCY, and since we're fighting at the Supreme Court level, the OUTCOME of our TIRELESS EFFORTS will be enjoyed IN ALL 50 STATES! Won't YOU please help us by joining, renewing, and/or volunteering TODAY? Thanks for your attention and hope you'll JOIN us in this FIGHT FOR GUN RIGHTS! www.cnjfo.com

TRAPSHOOTERS SQUAD BREAKS 125 STRAIGHT CLAYS!
CNJFO SUPPORTER SUE EMMA'S 1ST ALL SQUAD 25!

by Black Wire Media Monday July 22, 2019 www.cnjfo.com/join-us

Coalition supporter Sue Emma, a member of both the Central Jersey Rifle & Pistol Club as well as the Monmouth County Rifle & Pistol Club, reports to us from the Amateur Trapshooting Association (ATA) Eastern Zone Trapshooting Championship held over the weekend at the Pennsylvania State Shotgunning shooting grounds in Elysburg, PA. Sue had the privilege of shooting with a great squad this weekend. L-R is KayLynn Hamilton, John Kirksey, Eddie Cotton, Jamaal Brown, and Susan Emma. This was a 100 target singles event consisting of (4) rounds of 25 clay pigeons. On their final round everyone on the entire squad of 5 broke 25 out of 25 targets, known as a "Perfect 25". A first time experience for Sue to be on a squad where all 5 members broke 25 straight in a single round of Trap! Emma has been shooting Trap for quite some time and to her credit has already broken 100 straight targets in previous competition. Congrats to her & her fellow squad mates!

NATIONAL TRAIN A TEACHER DAY HELD AT FT. DIX RANGE 14!
CNJFO MEMBERS & SPONSORS VOLUNTEERED THEIR TALENT!

by Black Wire Media Sunday July 21, 2019 www.cnjfo.com/join-us

Many of us in the shooting community wear multiple hats because we're dedicated to the 2nd Amendment. This fine example of volunteerism highlights that to a "t". CNJFO members Heidi Bergmann-Schoch from The Well Armed Woman Jersey Shore OC Chapter, together with Pete Beringer from BerrinArms and Grant from ScotShot, ran a program yesterday at Ft. Dix Range #14 designed especially with public school educators in mind. Stop the Bleed, Situational Awareness, Civilian Taser and classroom exercises designed to be real lifesavers were all taught as part of a national program held annually. We congratulate our members (the instructors) and all of the teachers! Well-done!

CNJFO FILES AMICUS BRIEF FOR CHEESEMAN CASE!!

by Black Wire Media Thursday July 18, 2019 www.cnjfo.com/join-us

TOGETHER WE MAKE HISTORY! For the second time this year, and with the help & support of our members, sponsors, friends and those who contributed to our Lawsuit Fund, the Coalition of New Jersey Firearm Owners is proud to announce that on behalf of all legal firearm owners in NJ, we've officially filed a "friend-of-the-Court" brief explaining to SCOTUS why NJ GUN LAWS ARE UNCONSTITUTIONAL! This brief strongly supports Mark Cheeseman's case highlighting the abuse of the NJ gun owner by subjecting him/her to the patently ILLEGAL "Justifiable Need" Rule that prevents carrying self defense weapons outside of your home or business using a "case-by-case basis" as was made ILLEGAL via the Dick Heller decision 11 years ago!

We're proud of everyone that helped bring this amicus brief to fruition, especially our well-known 2nd Amendment Patriots, Attorneys Alan Beck and Stephen Stamboulieh. Their tireless efforts and keen insight combined with historical documentation discovered by our own member Jay Factor, resulted in this historical PLEA FOR RELIEF OF PERSECUTION!

Please consider helping us in any way you possibly can: Join or RENEW today, make a donation or planned monthly gift, or buy an apparel item. Every dollar counts! Thanks EVERYONE for helping to make this happen! ON TO VICTORY!

SMART GUN & EMERGENCY SEIZURE BILLS SIGNED BY NJ GOV.!
WE ALL KNEW IT WAS GOING TO HAPPEN & IT DID! NOW WHAT?

by Black Wire Media Tuesday July 16, 2019 www.cnjfo.com/join-us

In a move that everyone expected, NJ Governor Phil "I hate gunz" Murphy signed two more unconstitutional(?) gun bills into law earlier today. The Murphy administration seems to think that the law-abiding gun owners of New Jersey (read YOU & ME) are the problem when it's really mostly gang related. Laws not written well have consequences! We'll see what comes down the pike next, but remember we fight ON ALL FRONTS including the Supreme Court! We've already started printing our amicus brief for the Cheeseman carry case. If you wish to FIGHT BACK, you may do so HERE with a donation to pay for COURT BATTLES: www.cnjfo.com/Donate
