WOMEN & KIDS WILL SAVE PRECIOUS 2ND AMENDMENT!
IT's TIME TO EDUCATE & RECOGNIZE DEMOGRAPHICS!

by Black Wire Media Sunday Oct. 27, 2019 www.cnjfo.com/join-us

"Female hunters often desire to protect those they love with the use of firearms. Doing so provides satisfaction & EMPOWERMENT. I, unlike some #2AHeavyLifters, realize that there's a CONNECTION between hunting and a self-reliant gun owner. Some of these same women use firearms for self defense both in the home and out on the street (where permitted).

My job as Vice President of NJ's busiest 2A group is to promote firearms ownership in ALL FORMS, and to educate women & kids in their SAFE use. Often that means assisting them at events such as the hunts we run as fundraisers for CNJFO that provide the money to fight BAD GUN LAWS, some of which migrate to PA! Gun laws aren't made in a NJ vacuum, and that invisible border at the midway point of the Delaware River is no longer "a protective shield on a Star Ship."

Women & kids that use firearms are the true soldiers in the fight for Liberty! Moms have the final say in whether or not firearms even ENTER the residence. Ever notice the Anti's like Mom's Demand always drag kids along at events? Ever notice that the media soaks it up like a sponge & always puts the Mom's kids in photos holding signs? It's NOT an accident!

It's time for the "Fat, old white guys" to set an EXAMPLE that's good for a change! It's time to promote firearms ownership IN ALL FORMS, AND FOR ALL REASONS, to youth & women! Change minds through EDUCATION & AWARENESS! It's the first step to WINNING OUR RIGHTS BACK! To learn more, visit us at www.cnjfo.com & thanks for reading!

Continued success to all our 2A advocates we work with that realize the 2nd Amendment and hunting go hand-in-hand! Thanks for reading!"

    EDITOR's NOTE:

I try to keep my name off what I write. I'm NOT a glory hound. My friends KNOW this. I'm proud to say I've met & had the wonderful opportunity to mentor & shoot beside many females in my 48+ years behind the trigger, including my own daughter in-law that I love dearly! This write-up was just posted on a PA hunting page a few moments ago in response to a page Admin reminding males that making inappropriate comments earn you the BAN HAMMER! So kudos to Adam Smith! As a leader in the 2A community, we often read & comment on the pages that are kind enough to allow us to post articles regularly. Hunting Pennsylvania is such a page. Being a #2AHeavyLifter means bringing folks TOGETHER to SAVE THE 2ND! It is in that regard that I ask you to consider volunteering to help do just that!

I.E.D. DIDN'T DESTROY HIS LIFE, NJ GUN LAW WILL!
NJ MARINE FACING 36 MO. FOR 2 HI-CAP MAGS!

by Black Wire Media Friday Oct. 25, 2019 www.cnjfo.com/join-us

BREAKING! Marine Mike Harky gave 8 years of his life protecting his country. An I.E.D. explosion medically retired him from the Marine Corps. The Amphibious Vehicle (AMTRAK) driver and Waldwick, NJ businessman came home with a Purple Heart and everything he was issued except for his rifle & gas mask. These souvenirs were sent home in Harky's footlocker, which had remained closed for years until an incident this past February brought about by a child custody dispute unfolded. A T.R.O. (Temporary Restraining Order) was issued and the Waldwick Police visited the Harky residence, asking as they always do about weapons in the dwelling. It was then that the footlocker was opened and the magazines were seized along with other property. The T.R.O. was nullified at Family Court in February, at the conclusion of the custody battle, shortly after the seizure incident.

During a subsequent search by Police, a shotgun stored in his attic, his Marine dress sword and 10 assorted collector knives were seized along with (2) standard capacity 30-round magazines the Marines issued to him that he forgot were stowed away in his footlocker. Harky doesn't own a rifle OR the ammo for the magazines. They're just punched-out pieces of metal that contain a spring, a follower and some sand dust.

Fast forward to September 19th's consent order from the Family Court awarding 50% custody to each parent of the couple's 8 year old son, a heart transplant patient. The consent order stated he needed to apply for & pass a background check for a NJFPID card in order to get his shotgun, sword & knives returned. In going through the seized items in September, Waldwick PD then found the (2) 30-round standard issue magazines for the Marine's M-4 duty rifle that he doesn't have, at which time he was placed under arrest & spent two days in Bergen County Jail!

Harky, now remarried (see photo), has a November 15th Court date at Bergen County Superior Court in Hackensack. Harky, worried the state is trying to make him an "Example" for NJ's new Hi-Cap MAG BAN that puts you AWAY for 18 MONTHS per magazine, then wrote a Facebook post on Tuesday Oct. 23rd, which is now going viral! Fellow 2A supporters recommended he get attorney Evan Nappen to represent him in this matter, and as of last Wednesday evening, Nappen is under a retainer contract. We interviewed Harky earlier this afternoon (10-25) for this exclusive story!

No formal fundraising effort is yet underway and this construction company owner that employs 12 full-time employees now faces a dire future. Any help sharing this Marine Hero's fateful journey through the meatgrinder that is the NJ Court system will be greatly appreciated!

CNJFO FAMILY MEMBER MORGAN HEACOCK WINS ANJRPC's CAL ELLIS MEMORIAL COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP!

by Black Wire Media Monday Oct. 21, 2019 www.cnjfo.com/join-us

From yesterday's annual meeting of the Association of New Jersey Rifle & Pistol Clubs comes word that Morgan Heacock, 18, daughter of CNJFO member Donna & Scott Heacock of Bridgewater, NJ, earned a $500 Cal Ellis Memorial college scholarship from ANJRPC, the NJ state NRA chapter. Heacock, an avid shooter that grew up around firearms, attended SAW events at Gun For Hire Range with her mom (she's on the Second Amendment Women Shooting Club ad in GFH's lobby) and regularly attended family range sessions, wrote an extraordinary essay on what the 2nd Amendment means to her, her family and generations to come. Morgan attended Somerset County Vo-Tech HS for Culinary Trades, is now a freshman at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY, where she is studying to become a Chef. The Ellis scholarships, named after a renown past ANJRPC President, have been awarded for decades, and this year (4) were awarded. Congrats Morgan!

2ND AMEND. FOUNDATION NAMES COOK BLOGGER OF THE YR!
RIDING SHOTGUN WITH CHARLIE AWARDED AT GRPC IN AZ!

by Black Wire Media Saturday Oct. 19, 2019 www.cnjfo.com/join-us

Charlie Cook is a man on a mission! He drives a 4-wheeled "stage coach" loaded with Go-Pro cameras, picks-up Second Amendment "movers & shakers" that have reached statewide, regional, or in some cases national prominence, and interviews them in a moving vehicle. A father to a son & daughter that he's bribed with ice cream to go shooting, Cook is a natural both in firearms instruction and putting interviewees at ease. He brings years of experience as a NRA Instructor along for the ride, so he knows how to get the conversation going. His video series " Riding Shotgun With Charlie" is highly informative & entertaining at the same time thanks to Cook's ability to let the passenger---in the front seat beside him "Riding Shotgun"---shoot from the hip since no scripting exists in his interview style.

With almost 60 interviews published to date, Cook has a video library that is well worth watching. This last spring he interviewed David Rosenthal, CNJFO's Vice President, on topics ranging from the NJ magazine ban to how every firearm in New Jersey starts out as being ILLEGAL and you need exceptions & exemptions in the laws to own & use them. Rosenthal's interview can be seen HERE.  In addition to You Tube, Riding Shotgun With Charlie can be found on Spotify, IHeart Radio, and most other popular podcasting venues. Firearms Instructor Kelly Ann Pidgeon,

Pennsylvania's delegate to The DC Project is seen above, "riding shotgun" in the video still.

CNJFO AT ROD OF IRON FREEDOM FESTIVAL!
SAF's GOTTLIEB NOW AN OFFICIAL SPONSOR!

by Black Wire Media Tuesday Oct. 15, 2019 www.cnjfo.com/join-us

CNJFO excelled at community outreach and firearms education during the first annual Rod of Iron Freedom Festival hosted by Kahr Arms at their TommyGun Warehouse in Greely, PA last weekend. The Coalition was the only NJ-based 2nd Amendment group at the event advising attendees about the latest news on the 2A scene in our battleground state. Kahr Arms graciously provided a 10 x 10 booth space with pop-up directly adjacent to the Second Amendment Foundation's Alan Gottlieb. Gottlieb spoke both days and held book signings immediately after, driving even more traffic to our booths.

Gottlieb and former NJ resident Robert Kreisler of SAF chatted us up several times, posed for pictures and personally thanked us for our 2A work in a big way. Sunday afternoon he donated several cases of both books he was giving to new SAF members, "Good Guys with Guns" and "Gun Facts and Myths". Gottlieb told us to sell them and keep the funds as a donation to CNJFO!

The books retail for $19.99 each and we accepted donations on multiple copies at $10 each (half cover price)! We plan to offer them until supplies run out. Thank-you Mr. Gottlieb for your considerable donation to CNJFO!

Manning our sales & information booth and selling memberships & swag all weekend were CNJFO's Jon MacMillan and VP Dave "Rosey" Rosenthal. Member & CNJFO Hog Hunter Lorraine Crescimanno, who lives near the warehouse, volunteered to be a model in Amanda Suffecool's Concealed Carry Fashion Show that she hopes to tour each state with. Crescimanno modeled several CCW holsters on the main stage from various manufacturers and never "printed" (had outline of hand gun visible).

Suffecool, together with her brother Rob Campbell host "Eye On The Target Radio", a nationally syndicated podcast. Campbell, a true gun historian, provided complimentary on-site firearms appraisals at this OPEN CARRY event. The DC Project's Lori Ann Blackwell assisted Suffecool and Pidgeon throughout the weekend. Blackwell hails from Chicago and is all too familiar with tyrannical firearms law. The fashion show was emceed by Charlie Cook of Riding Shotgun With Charlie fame (our Dave Rosenthal was passenger #49 in Cook's "stagecoach" ) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xD0atrosPBY.

ARMED and Feminine LLC's Kelly Ann Pidgeon, The DC Project's PA representative and Riding Shotgun With Charlie passenger #56, modeled in the Concealed Carry Fashion Shows. Pidgeon was presented the Pennsylvania Freedom Award by Kahr Arms owners Sean & Justin Moon. A fantabulous speaker lineup featuring Alan Gottlieb, Pidgeon, Suffecool, GOA's John Velleco, Craig "Sawman" Sawyer, Benghazi hero John "TIG" Tiegen, and others all thrilled the crowd. Live bands provided entertainment, with Kelly Pidgeon's husband's band "Boats Against the Current" closing out the Festival Sunday night with every band member OPEN CARRYING a pistol!

NO protestors showed for this OPEN CARRY event, and the machinegun fire at the Kahr range seemed to add a little "spice". Suffecool modeled the events' official "SAFE SPACE" for "TRIGGERED" attendees which featured stuffed animals, unicorns & such. This first annual Rod Of Iron Freedom Festival was simply astounding and CNJFO eagerly looks towards the future and being an integral part of NJ gun owners yearn for FREEDOM for years to come!

GUN RACISM: BLACK RIFLES BAD! AND OTHER "BUTTER" ANALOGIES THAT MAKE YOU LOOK REALLY STUPID!

by Eric Saperstein for Black Wire Media Monday Oct. 7, 2019 www.cnjfo.com/join-us

Something to remember. All gun control is racist and anti-Semitic. That means ALL! I have no interest in hearing I support 2A "BUT" ... there are no BUTS in rights!!

"I'm not against Jews they can practice their religion freely but shouldn't be allowed to control the banks or work in finance."

You sound as follows: "I support Black freedom but they should not be able to own land or vote ... that doesn't effect their freedom".

"I support the 2A BUT those scary black rifles should be banned." ---spoken by the gun owning "Butter-s"

    TO ALL THE BUTTER-S EVERYWHERE!:

    You're a racist ... anti-Semitic ... anti liberty FOOL ... get it?

Let’s dispense the rhetoric and banter for a moment. Supremacy is best repressed by equality, and equality is established by the availability of equal force. Force may equate to many things, physical, financial, legal, education, and access to resources required to survive such as food and water. Now relax, I’m not about to go on some sorta socialist rampage, I’m a capitalist at heart and our focus here and now is equal access to firearms and the right to bear them as a foundation for all rights.

Equality is best maintained by each individual’s willingness to defend their own self, family, community, and nation from enemies foreign and domestic. I believe in our nation, love my country, but I see its potential for flaw and its history as it actually played out. I believe in "We the People" and that we is defined as the entire species of featherless bipeds or carbon based sacks of mostly water, however you want to describe us we are humans. I'll demonstrate my disdain for bigotry by offending you all equally.

Firearms are the greatest equalization factor when it comes to preventing oppression and suspending attempts to establish supremacy between any known human demographic. The logic here is that when we are all equally armed, we are all equally balanced and safe. In contrast when one demographic is deprived of arms they become immediately subservient to those who maintain the ability to enforce their will.

Let’s take on one thread for now, a brief history of our nation’s racist “gun control” actions and the motives against blacks. (I’ll go on a rant for Jews later …) We’re gonna jump around in the timeline, this is gonna be a little Tarantinoish!

I’m just gonna openly snag this from Tony Simon – “1620 the first gun control laws were passed in the colony of Virginia banning blacks from owning firearms. They didn't want the African slaves that arrived in 1619 arming themselves and escaping. 50 years of "equal rights" does not erase 400 years of history. The United States has historically failed to live up to its lofty creed that "all men are created equal ". We have made amazing strides towards achieving this goal but it can easily be taken away by allowing our civil rights to be infringed upon.”

As our nation’s civil war came to an end in 1865 with the surrender of the Confederacy, one of our greatest proponents of the right to bear arms stepped up. Frederick Douglass urged federal action to stop state and local infringement of the right to arms. Until this was accomplished, Douglass argued, “the work of the abolitionists is not finished.”

At this time many Southern states employed statues impacting and specifically targeting freed slaves … whom Douglas continued, “were forbidden to own or bear firearms, and thus were rendered defenseless against assault.” Are you getting the idea? I’ll spell it out – disarm the black folk so the white supremacists can reign terror at will.

This is our history ladies and gentleman, the great United States has a dark and dreary period that we must never allow to return. The result of Douglas’s actions, and many other abolitionists, delivered the Freedmen’s Bureau Bill of 1865, the Civil Rights Act of 1866, and the Civil Rights Act of 1870. All of these established and guaranteed all people’s equal rights of self-defense. Adding weight, the 14th Amendment, ratified in 1868, made the Second Amendment applicable to the states.

So what happens next? We now have an amendment that requires racial equality so creative supremacy and discrimination begins and suppression (aka gun control) takes on cute neutrally-worded laws for discriminatory application. Tennessee and Arkansas prohibited handguns that freedmen could afford, while allowing expensive “Army & Navy” handguns, which ex-Confederate officers already owned. Later in our timeline, remember the term “Saturday Night Special?” … remember when we attacked those to ban them for our safety? Think about it …

This concept will go on and on so let’s skip forward – Do you remember when Dr. King lead his march for voter registration in Mississippi? His Deacons for Defense and Justice provided armed security. Did you know Dr. King was denied a permit to carry a handgun? Do you know why Reagan signed the Mulford act in California in 1967? Because the Black Panthers presented themselves at the capital openly armed.

Just a citation - Charles Cobb’s excellent book, "This Nonviolent Stuff’ll Get You Killed: How Guns Made the Civil Rights Movement Possible" describes how pacifist community organizers from the North learned to accept the armed protection of their black, rural communities. (I stole that description from somewhere …)

In 2010's McDonald v. City of Chicago case, Justice Clarence Thomas’s opinion reinforced that gun control equates to race control. Separating our broad right to subvert direct tyranny from our right to self-defense … our government displays the inability to secure public safety yet denies the individual the means to accomplish this end. Chicago’s daily death list is out for display on the nightly news. (I’m gonna add Baltimore MD, Camden, NJ, DC, NYC, etc …) Suppression manifests in such regions by removing the personal right to self-protection where its actually needed the most (high crime areas plagued by street gangs AND politicians that propose "FEEL-GOOD" legislation)!

And back to Mr. Simon for the close … “The founders knew government needed to be held accountable by "We the people " and to do so we needed to be armed. Politicians and the media are pushing civilian disarmament and attacking the 2nd Amendment and civilian firearms ownership on every level. They are using fear, misdirection, propaganda and bald faced lies to convince Americans that we will be "safer" disarmed. Look at our history and ask yourself WHY!?

Me again … Backwards and forwards in our nation’s timeline presents again and again – all missions to disarm our citizens manifest in an attempt to represses some or all of our people. We are citizens, not subjects, so start acting like it! No ... BUTS ... no more BS ... the only open discussion here is the concept of "SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED"!

"When has being disarmed by the American government ever been safe for the disarmed?"

    EDITOR's NOTE:

Saperstein is a registered Pink Card holder with NJSP. A "Pink Card" is a license to SELL firearms in a retail establishment here in NJ. Saperstein has a knack for doing that, and can literally convince someone they NEED an AR-15 when all they came into the store for was gun cleaner! His analogies are his own and bear no ill will towards ANY subject group mentioned in the above article. Thought-provoking, gripping, and with his reticle pointed squarely at the "BUTTER-S", his somewhat IN-YOUR-FACE style is meant to MAKE YOU THINK! We hope you enjoy his viewpoint of UNIFICATION.

NY STATE R&P ASSN. SCOTUS CASE LIVES ANOTHER DAY!
ANALYSIS OF THE ATTEMPT THUS FAR IN "MOOTING" THE CASE!

by Theresa Inacker, fmr Managing Editor Seton Hall Con. Law Journal
    Monday October 7, 2019 www.cnjfo.com/join-us

The attempt by the anti-gunners to dismiss the case as moot (since NYC changed its' ruling forbidding the transport of a hand gun out of the five boroughs for ANY viable reason, including use & repair of same), thusly avoiding having the case heard on the merits, was DENIED earlier today by the U.S. Supreme Court. This means the case will proceed further. The Court hinted that the mootness issue will also be dealt with. This could have good or bad consequences just like any case. One cannot predict how the Court will rule, but at least the case was not dismissed before the merits could be analyzed. Onward we go! The question of mootness will be handled during oral arguments and both sides were so informed to be fully prepared. This demonstrates the interconnectedness of many Constitutional rights and concepts when facing any Second Amendment challenge.

    EDITOR's NOTE:
CNJFO didn't "break" this story because we have the responsibility to "get it RIGHT" and provide analysis an everyday, common gun owner can interpret. Inacker, whom was recently admitted to The Supreme Court Bar, is our Communications Director and NJ's Delegate to The DC Project, a non-partisan group of 50 women, one from each state, that presents 2nd Amendment perspective to US Congress people and Senators.
