NJ's 2A Groups Send Unified Message-Demanding Accountability in Firearms Permitting, Elimination of State Middle-Man for NICS!

by Black Wire Media Wed. July 1, 2020 www.cnjfo.com/join-us

    For immediate release!

In an unprecedented bond of unity, New Jersey’s leading Second Amendment organizations have sent a detailed letter to New Jersey’s Governor Murphy, Attorney General Grewal, Superintendent of State Police, Colonel Patrick J. Callahan, and all members of the Legislature proposing reforms to the New Jersey firearms permitting process and background checks. Moreover, the groups are calling for the elimination of qualified immunity for delays in permitting that result in bodily harm or death to the applicant.

"This proactive call for reform comes as riots, looting and general criminal disturbances are on the rise. New Jersey gun owners are calling for accountability of government for delays in the process and an end to systemic infringements. While I support Constitutional carry, this is a great first step toward that goal." ---Theresa Inacker, CNJFO Communications Director

CNJFO spearheaded this unprecedented call for reforms to New Jersey's antiquated firearms background check system which helped lead to the predictable yet totally unnecessary death of Berlin, NJ's Carol Bowne five years ago. Bowne was stabbed to death in her own driveway on day #43 waiting for permission to purchase a firearm. Domestic violence victims need a streamlined permitting system!

Second Amendment entities signing this history-making communication include:

The Association of New Jersey Rifle & Pistol Clubs
Anthony Colandro of Gun For Hire Range
Tony Simon, Founder of The Second is For Everyone (2A4E)
The Women of The DC Project, New Jersey State Delegation
    NJ2A Sanctuary

    Body of the letter follows:

    Governor Philip D. Murphy
    225 W State St
    Trenton, NJ 08625

Re: Systemic infringements of Gun Rights in New Jersey

    Dear Governor Murphy:

New Jersey firearms owners are united in one voice as we request reform in how Police Departments and the New Jersey State Police handle and process firearms permitting in New Jersey. The Second Amendment community has been a longtime supporter of our Law Enforcement personnel, who protect and serve our state. However, applicants for Firearms Purchase Identification Cards, Permits to Purchase Handguns, and Applications for Permits to Carry a Handgun encounter a system wrought with delays, denials and absolutely no accountability. These systemic delays are infringements and violate the Second Amendment to the United States Constitution.

Defunding Police will inevitably result in Police force reductions, which will result in services being even more strained—this includes permitting. Moreover, reduced policing will result in an increase in crime and reduced response times. Thus, we will continue to see an increase in gun ownership as record numbers of new people seek to protect themselves. As you are aware, we have already seen record numbers of new applications over the past few months.

New Jersey firearms owners request the following:

    1. Police departments, New Jersey State Police Barracks, the Firearms Unit, County Adjusters, and private contractors be retrained, or reformed as necessary to ensure that applications for Firearms Purchase Identification Cards and Permits to Purchase a Handgun are timely processed, including maximizing coordination among the various agencies and providers of information so that the 30 day processing time frame required by 2C:58-3 is never exceeded due to the action or inaction of a New Jersey governmental agency (State or local) or any private contractor of such agency.

    2. Remove Qualified Immunity for Police Departments, officers, and municipalities where there is a delay in permitting beyond 30 days processing time frame required by 2C:58-3, not attributable to a non-New Jersey agency, resulting in death or bodily harm for the applicant. Recall the case of Carol Bowne who was murdered at the hands of her attacker more than 30 days after she applied for her Firearms Purchase Identification Card. She inquired about the status of her delayed permits on Day 41-she was senselessly murdered on Day 43. See more:

    https://youtu.be/Z7evnf5rGIM.

    3. Remove the State Police as a Point of Contact under the National Instant Criminal Background Check System (“NICS”), so that FFLs may contact the federal NICS portal directly, resulting in 24/7 service versus the current limited service provided by the State Police, which is only Monday through Saturday and not on state holidays. This will result in savings to taxpayers, improved access to NICS checks, and the elimination of wasteful duplicative, and dilatory processing through the State.

Our right to self-defense and preservation of life is a human right and it shall not be taken by any other individual or government. We will no longer be complicit in the degradation and diminution of our own rights.

The Second Amendment Community is a diverse one, crossing all facets of humanity, notwithstanding color, gender, politics, religion or any other identity. We are the diverse community who attends hearings and testifies, files litigation, submits to background checks in every stage of the process. We are the law-abiding, the ones who refuse to be victims, the ones who refuse to be strong-armed out of their safety, security of persons and property.

We request reforms of the systemic infringement, the end to qualified immunity for permitting violations and accountability of government in this process.

    In liberty,

The Coalition of New Jersey Firearms Owners (CNJFO)

The Association of New Jersey Rifle and Pistol Clubs (ANJRPC)

WHAT HAS THE ST. LOUIS INCIDENT TAUGHT US ALL?
THE ART OF BRANDISHING WILL SAVE YOUR LIFE!

by Black Wire Media Tues. June 30, 2020 www.cnjfo.com/join-us

You've seen the news, and are cognizant of current events. Hundreds of protestors storm onto your property as "mob mentality" rules. They've trashed a fence gate, some may be carrying weapons. Do you meet the threat and deescalate the situation with obvious bravado and a Clint Eastwood "go ahead, make my day" sweep of the crowd or do you find a safe place to hide where they can't see you or hear you, so they then feel unchallenged and empowered and commence to destroy your property or worse? This incident is what the Second Amendment is all about! It's also a testament to the art of brandishing firearms to deescalate. Not a shot was fired! Everybody kept their "social distance"...

Did the couple do everything "by the book" safety-wise? No, of course not. They're not us (Gun People). Sweeping each other with lack of muzzle awareness is a thing here, and some of the video is hard for 2A people to watch. At the end of the day though, you have to look at the RESULTS!

The 2A community as a whole is a great bunch of awesome people. This incident unfortunately brought out some really juvenile comments and criticisms, right down to the designer clothes they were wearing. We suppose if they had tactical outfits and looked more like "Cops", the trespassing mob would have somehow felt more afraid and left ASAP?

The fact of the matter is the BRAVADO itself is what deescalated the mob. Nobody wanted to be the first miscreant to catch a bullet! And that's just how the forgotten art of brandishing works. At its very roots it's the original form of psychological warfare: The miscreant mind says "Is what I'm about to do worth catching a bullet for"? Today's firearm instructors teach how to run & hide in a safe room, grab your gun & a phone and wait for the home invaders to pour you a Molotov cocktail & burn you out. This couple of means chose to take a stand, and by doing so has taught the world a lesson. Especially those willing to grasp it instead of sharing a meme.

We interviewed Charlie Cook from "Riding Shotgun With Charlie", a firearms Instructor and podcaster that has interviewed many a mover & shaker in the firearms world. He interviewed CNJFO's VP Dave Rosenthal (episode #49) over a year ago, and with almost 80 gun people "riding shotgun" in his front seat, his finger is on the pulse of the 2A community. Here's what Cook had to say:

"Tony Simon summed it up a few years ago: “you’ve got a lawn mower but you’re not into the lawn mower lifestyle”.

"These people are gun owners, but they’re not into the “gun owner lifestyle”. They don’t have the training, clothes, gear, or assortment of hardware that we have. They don’t watch our YouTube channels or listen to our podcasts".

    Cook also added,

"When we all gang up on these people and bash them for their poor training and handling, I assume the Anti-gun folks see this, recognize this, and will start to push for mandatory minimum training, certain scores on qualifying targets for concealed carry, and anything else to get the government more involved and to have less people meet the BS training requirements that they enforce! So less people can own guns and it becomes more restrictive! Honestly, they’re probably like the 2.5+ million new gun owners we’ve gotten in the last few months. They bought a gun, learned a little bit, and thought they’d be ok. Did you see their house? Who would have ever thought “protestors” would have made it there?

The 2A community can't be for Constitutional carry, then turn around and hassle someone for not taking a training course. They may have taken enough training for the state to allow them to own and/or carry firearms. However, they successfully used a couple of firearms to defend their lives and their home. And no shots were fired. Yes, it was sloppy. We’ve shot more than they have. But most of us haven’t had to use a gun defensively.

We can make all the funny memes we want. But when their property was trespassed, they met disparity of force with the Equalizer." ---Charlie Cook, Riding Shotgun With Charlie

    EDITOR's NOTE:

The art of brandishing can be employed where legal and is a decision by the gun owner to NOT be a victim. It's simply another tool in the tool chest of a gun owner. It's made on-the-fly as events unfold, and has been a part of our history since long before these United States came to be. Be it a flintlock or a Colt AR-15, it gets the job done. History has proven this time & time again. The pages of NRA's American Rifleman magazine are replete with decades of true stories where a shot was never fired!

At CNJFO we report the facts and provide expert analysis. That often means we're not the first to post a one-liner with a meme. We can live with that. May you all never have to brandish under a microscope and face consequences for doing so. And thanks to our great friend Charlie Cook.

THE OLD WEST PAYS A VISIT TO OLD BRIDGE R&P!
2ND AMENDMENT HERITAGE CELEBRATED IN NJ!

by Dave "Rosey" Rosenthal, Black Wire Editor in-Chief
    Monday June 29, 2020 www.cnjfo.com/join-us

The crack of antique gunfire and plumes of black powder smoke wafted through the Old Bridge Rifle & Pistol Club's Range #6 on Saturday as the old west came to life with firing replica late-nineteenth century arms. Henrys and Sharps proved deadly accurate. Colts and Winchesters too--and some of their owners dressed the part for this multi-stage semi-annual competition, run by club Trustee and black powder league match director Lance Brunner.

Stages were 50 yard 5-Bull Buffalo paper target shot from crossed-sticks, single-action six-gun engaging a B-34 silhouette with scoring rings (the Gunfight), cutting a weighted string with a well-placed bullet (the Hangman), and the .22 Dueling Tree steel action shooter vs. shooter for the shoot-off.

This is the 12th time Brunner has chaired the semi-annual event in 6 years, and anyone who's a club member could have registered. With outdoor range operations resuming on May 22nd thanks to ANJRPC (our state NRA Association) suing our Governor, lots of members wanted to "scratch the itch" that is "trigger abstinence", so Brunner had no trouble filling the 24 available slots with shooters.

If we held a "Best Dressed for the part" it would have surely been won by Deb Shannon, dressed in western Sunday finery from her hat to boots! Deb borrowed Brunner's .22 lever rifle for the Dueling Tree stage, making it to the semi-finals for a shoot-off with a gun she never shot before! She was also the first shooter ever in the history of the match to cut the weighted string with a six-gun!

No cutthroats or highwaymen showed up to the match. In fact this friendly competition saw everyone cheering & spotting for each other, typical of the great camaraderie displayed at every match Brunner runs. The overall match winner (Mark L.) did receive a hand-engraved (by Brunner) .45-70 reproduction BPCR cartridge commemorating the achievement.

Several CNJFO members and supporters attended the event. Member Joe Long placed first in the 5-Bull Buffalo target scoring 200 points (40 point average per bull). He also cut a weighted string with his .45-70 Sharps single-shot with Vernier tang-mounted peep sight. New member Mike C. cut the string with his Rossi lever action saddle gun. Peter Brady did great on the B-34 "Gunfight" stage with his six-gun, as did Dave Z.

This writer made club history as only the second competitor in the 12 matches held thus far to cut the weighted string using a hand gun. Deb Shannon did it first, at this very same match using her .357 six-gun! I shot sometime after Shannon using my Dad's Ruger New Model .357 Blackhawk single-action commemorative, made in 1976 & adorned with "Made in the 200th Year of American Liberty" roll-stamped onto the top of the barrel. I used .38 Spl. wadcutters I received in a "horse trade" about 25 years ago. Dad is smilin' from Heaven :)

Old Bridge R&P Club's black powder league resumes full operation this Sunday at their regular monthly 1st Sunday of the month match. Fellow NRA Double Distinguished Experts in muzzleloading (this writer was the first in the country) will be on hand offering mentoring & camaraderie.

    .22 LEVER ACTION DUELLING TREE A SHOOT-OFF!
CNJFO ATTENDS OLD BRIDGE's OLD WEST SHOOT!

by Black Wire Media Sat. June 27, 2020 www.cnjfo.com/join-us

Deb Shannon made it all the way to the semifinals of the “Dueling Tree” competition seen here at today’s 12th Old West Shoot held at Old Bridge R&P Club’s outdoor range facility. She borrowed Old West Shoot Match Director Lance Brunner’s .22 LR lever-action rifle as the Dueling Tree is for 22’s only. Steppin'-off the 8:30am stagecoach dressed up in Sunday-finery period attire, she also cut a string during that phase of the twice a year event. Shannon has been a club member at OBR&PC for a while, and wants to bring her girlfriends for a range visit soon. CNJFO encourages women of all ages to get involved in every aspect of shooting and standing up for the Second Amendment! To learn more about the Old Bridge Club, go to:

NJ's INDOOR RANGES TO OPEN JULY 2nd AS WE PREDICTED!
ANJRPC FEDERAL LAWSUIT FORCES NJ GOVERNOR TO BLINK!

by Black Wire Media Wed. June 24, 2020 www.cnjfo.com/join-us

The official NRA state association for New Jersey (ANJRPC) did file a federal lawsuit a short time ago as we reported. As CNJFO predicted, based upon our NJ Governor's track record of not opening anything gun related unless & until being sued over it, the Governor did today announce during his press conference that indoor shooting ranges could open at a measly 25% capacity. So it's a win, of sorts. Guidelines are allegedly being drawn-up as we type this news, but if Trenton's track record of "guidelines" runs true to form, ranges, like most businesses told they may reopen at limited capacities, will be left in a lurch waiting for answers!

We sincerely hope that the lawsuit (or a second one, now that an opening timeline has been established) continues so as to enable indoor ranges, that are mostly commercial enterprises, be entitled to recoup lost profits for this blatant unconstitutional behavior. We all know that's a pipe dream, but maybe it's worth a shot?

CNJFO is proud to partner with and hereby congratulates Anthony Colandro, Dan Schmutter, Scott Bock, Kathy Chatterton, and the entire Board at ANJRPC for their continued steadfast support of 2A. We also recommend that the public at-large be patient with range owners as they enter this brave new world walking on eggshells. Please plan on supporting your local ranges, and write or call them individually, as needed, NEXT WEEK. Please give them time to reset their employees, schedules, and of course implement the aforementioned "guidelines" that have to be INVENTED YET!

CNJFO FOLKS DUST CLAYS AT TELCO TRAP NIGHT!
2A AWARENESS PROMOTED IN THE JERSEY PINES!

by Black Wire Media Tues. June 23, 2020 www.cnjfo.com/join-us

The Coalition of New Jersey Firearm Owners resumed attending gun club league shoots--post lockdown--as of last night. CNJFO's newest Trustee & Telco Sportsmen's Club member Theresa Inacker hosted a full squad of 5 Trap shooters, CNJFO members all: Mike LaSanta, Lee Ollivier, Jean Meeker, and fellow Trustee Dave "Rosey" Rosenthal. Telco Sportsmen's Club is near the Atco Speedway, and is warm & welcoming, especially to Newbies as the members offer solid info on how to crush clays when asked. Guys like Michael Tolomeo want to see folks do well, so he worked with first time Trap shooter Jean Meeker (NJ DC Project member) as she pumped lead out of her 20 ga. We're proud to say we have several members that shoot clays there!

Telco's Monday night Trap league is quite popular, starting at 6pm and running for several hours. It's even more fun when it gets dark as they have a bank of lights illuminating the entire Trap field & those flying orange disks. A round of Trap is 25 clays and costs just $5.

Telco was selected as the host range facility for CNJFO's (cancelled) June 20th Modern Sporting Rifle Youth Shoot. A victim of the Covid crisis, the Youth Shoot will be rescheduled soon and we'll make a big splash announcing it. We thank the Telco Bo. of Trustees for their continued commitment to youth shooting programs.

Being seen is important, especially since the big letdown at the Supreme Court. Letting folks know we're formulating an action plan and using current events to be proactive instead of reactive lifts spirits. It's a message that makes no promises, but offers hope for the future. We need your help. Are YOU a member of NJ's busiest 2nd Amendment organization? We need YOU to be proactive too, so JOIN or RENEW today: www.cnjfo.com/join-us

GUNCRAFT w/ ARMED AND FEMININE's KELLY ANN PIDGEON!
PA. DC PROJECT DELEGATE, TWAW LEADER GETS NRA INK

by Black Wire Media Mon. June 22, 2020 www.cnjfo.com/join-us

Kelly Ann Pidgeon is a student of the Gun and was highlighted three days ago by "NRA WOMEN", an electronic newsletter promoting female empowerment through firearms usage. The Indiana, PA. entrepreneur loves to teach firearms handling & operation to women of all ages. She formed her LLC, "Armed and Feminine" in February of 2015 and has taught students from age 11 to 83 how to defend themselves should the need arise. Pidgeon isn't a one-trick pony, she's ALL-IN!". Juggling career, family, and other interests, Pidgeon is the Pennsylvania Director & Delegate to The DC Project, a group of over 50 dedicated women that make a pilgrimage to Washington, DC annually to chat with Congress people and Senators about "Educating, NOT Legislating". (Our Communications Director, Theresa Inacker, is a member of that sisterhood serving as the NJ Director & Delegate).

Kelly Ann saw a need for continuing education post NRA Basic classes, so helped get The Well Armed Woman chapter started in her area. TWAW has chapters all over the country (NJ has several) that reinforce the basics, offer additional shooting opportunities, and hold classroom discussions & training. An ideal hand-off the Newbies need & enjoy to build superior confidence.

Last October Pidgeon was a guest speaker at the Rod of Iron Freedom Festival held at Kahr Arms' Tommygun Warehouse, where she received an award for all of her work on behalf of the 2nd Amendment. A true freedom fighter, Pidgeon has spoken at several other venues, including the Pennsylvania state capitol in Harrisburg. If an opportunity presents itself, go see her!

"2A THROWN-OUT LIKE TRASH!" SAYS CNJFO PREZ!
A JERSEY GUN OWNERS' CURRENT PERSPECTIVE!

by Dan Grdovic, CNJFO President, for Black Wire Media
    www.cnjfo.com/join-us

To say our hopes have been dashed this past week is to truly understate what occurred. Justice Thomas, joined in part by Justice Kavanaugh delivered a stunning rebuke of their fellow Justices when ten diverse Second Amendment cases, delivered to them on a silver platter, ripe for the picking, were instead thrown into the trash, like the baby with the bath water. It seems to this writer that our plea was akin to a famous movie quote: “This is our most desperate hour. Help me, Obi-Wan Kenobi. You’re my only hope.” has been ignored by our Obi-Wan, ‘our’ SCOTUS.

"All persons are by nature free and independent, and have certain natural and unalienable rights, among which are those of enjoying and DEFENDING LIFE and liberty, of acquiring, possessing, and PROTECTING property, and of pursuing and OBTAINING SAFETY and happiness." (Emphasis added)

The NJ State Constitution, "appears" to recognize your right to protect yourself, alas, it's only a verbal construct, effectively shut down by legislator after legislator, judge after judge, governor after governor, police chief after police chief, and the list of “rights suppressors” goes on and on and on. And which group is held up to vilify all? Gun Owners, regardless of race, religion, or personal pronoun.

It's REASONABLE to wait 6 months for your pistol purchase permit, it's REASONABLE to wait days for an "instant background check". It's reasonable to be killed in your driveway (RIP Carol Bowne) while waiting 43 DAYS for your pistol purchase permit to be approved, because if it saves even one life, err, yeah, it didn't work that way either...

And now, society looks like it's ready to fall apart. The great government is calling for the police to be defunded while looting, arson and destruction of property are unchecked. The harsh upside is that people are finally waking to the fact that the police are not there to protect you, after all the “venerable” supreme court said so (Warren v. DC, DeShaney v. Winnebago, Town of Castle Rock v. Gonzales, some things are not tl/dr, look that up!). At the end of the day, the laws don't give a crap about you, the media is only interested in selling advertising (cause anymore they don't even 'sell papers’) and this society wants to take your hard earned money and property (Kelo v. New London) and give it away at all costs to whomever happens to have their hand out screaming the loudest.

"Our" legislature, and "our" governor are in the process of agreeing to a MULTI Billion Dollar borrowing plan from the Fed. By the way, there are approximately 9 Million people in the state. That doesn't sound so bad, borrow $1,500 a person, until you realize that for a typical family of four, that's $6,000. And of that family of four, how many are working? And how many of those people even have jobs right now? Yes, that's clearly what we need in NJ, even more borrowing, to raise our astronomical taxes even further.

Who will pay for these Billions? Do you think it will be spread around equally? Do you think Murphy's mansion in Middletown will see a commensurate tax increase while the lower and middle classes won't be stuck with such a burden? Let's, for a moment, look at the racist nature of property taxes in our beautiful state. If we examine property taxes in wealthy areas (like say Franklin Lakes) as either a percentage of income or net worth, OR, if we examine property taxes as a percentage of a home's value in comparison to a more working class community adjacent (I.e. Hawthorne), we see a huge disparity. Who is clearly not paying their fair share? Is it Blue Collar adult in Hawthorne? HARDLY! But Murphy, Mr. I can pay $210,749.42 in property taxes a year 'understands you'. To which I say BS.

We get the government we elect. We have elected crooks, racists, pedophiles, professional politicians, Goldman Sachs retreads, people so far from working a day in their lives that their chauffeurs are sure to drive routes so they don't have to see people doing physical labor because it affronts their delicate sensibilities, while simultaneously pandering to those very same 'undesirables' for votes and doing whatever the cause celeb happens to be in order to bask in their public philanthropy.

We, as a society, seem to have forgotten that the government governs at the consent of the governed, that we the people have the power to change our government at will. So, shall we elect from the left or from the right? No. We shall elect from neither.

Whom shall we elect then? We should elect our neighbor, ourselves, our friends, our patriots, those not beholden to lobbyists, corporate greed, or for that matter, the will of the majority, but rather those that have a moral compass. And we should not let them stay in government very long.

It's been said that power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. The solution to avoid that is to change politicians early and often. There should be no career politicians, as that is what has created the current mess.

Or have we had enough? The old saw “The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.” -Thomas Jefferson while so overused may be the only restorative for our great experiment in democracy. Is it time for us to rise up and cast off the self-ordaining monarchs? Are we fed up yet? Have we lost all hope and have nothing left to lose?

The Kobayashi Maru of today – protect yourself and end up with a minimum 7 year sentence in jail or do not protect yourself and end up dead. That Catch-22 is this writer’s daily existence. Meanwhile, the oft-caught fish with multiple convictions will have his lawlessness rewarded with instant bail, will have all Graves act offenses (gun crimes---Ed.) dropped immediately by a Government who wants to “eliminate gun violence” but only by taking legal firearms away from certified good guys, and then the oft-caught fish will be let out to again prey on the minnows of society.

This writer is not advocating for you to break any laws, but asks you to consider this question:

Has the time come for you to ignore the unconstitutional mandates of our oppressors? Have you recognized that there are not enough enforcers to overcome the number of protestors? When you’re facing the death of your free and independent nature, do you and your kind have enough stomach, numbers and force to accept your fate and then attempt to overwhelm the guards of this concentration camp known as NJ?

I am ready, but frankly I don’t trust you to have my six. Many of you are more worried about snacks on the bus on the way to the protest, whether you will have wifi, availability of toilets along the protest route, and dressing up in your “Uncle Sam” ridiculous outfit instead of bringing your A-game, sucking it up, and being prepared for every contingency including further loss of your freedom.

Let me know when you’re ready, I’m waiting.

CNJFO's PETROLINO INTERVIEWED BY GUNSTUFF TV!
"DECODING FIREARMS" NOW AVAIL. THRU AMAZON & KINDLE!

by Theresa Inacker for Black Wire Media Fri. June19, 2020 www.cnjfo.com/join-us

John Petrolino’s “Decoding Firearms, An Easy to Read Guide on General Gun Safety & Use", introduces the reader to the basics of firearms use and safety, providing step-by-step guidance to ensuring that your firearms experience is safe and fun. The author demystifies the technical world of firearms, safety gear, and range etiquette, digesting it down to an easy-to-read and understand manual for the reader.

Beyond the clear wording and demonstrative illustrations, Petrolino’s book is unique as it covers important topics related to lead and chemical exposure, which should be of particular interest to pregnant women and the health-conscious. In addition to chapters on gun safety rules, safety gear and storage, Petrolino provides a chapter dedicated to “Children & Firearms” where he discusses strategies for educating our children on gun safety, a chief concern for parents entering the world of firearms ownership.

You will particularly like how Petrolino explains the importance of the Second Amendment, connecting the dots between great rights and great responsibility. Add this book to your library; it will be your go-to resource as a new shooter, as an instructor, or anyone looking to simply decode the world of firearms. ---Theresa Inacker, CNJFO Communications Director

CNJFO SPONSOR's QUARANTINE CRAWL A SLICE OF AMERICANA!
ANTHONY COLANDRO's MISSION IS TO KEEP 2A ALIVE IN NJ!

by Black Wire Media Fri. June 19, 2020 www.cnjfo.com/join-us

From deep behind enemy lines just 15 miles from NYC lies a man with a target on his back on a mission! NRA Board member & Gun For Hire Woodland Park Range owner Anthony Colandro can't sit still. Covid-19 closed his range indefinitely on March 21st by Gov. Murphy's executive order (ANJRPC's Dan Schmutter just filed an injunction for relief in Federal Court), so Colandro started touring places that are "essential" as well as 2nd Amendment friendly. Range members, their friends, relatives, associates, and complete strangers (he reads his email) have thus far been interviewed at their place of business by the gregarious host of Gun For Hire Radio and the Coalition's first Platinum Sponsor.

CNJFO's John Petrolino interviewed Anthony for this mouthwatering story (seems quality mom & pop food joints are handily featured), and "The Crawl" has become so popular it's featured on You Tube!

What has been born from potentially boredom and restrictions on what we are “allowed” to do has turned into a comprehensive catalogue of the salt of the Earth New Jersey small businesses. Anthony has over 100 video reviews on the businesses he has covered and you can view them all on YouTube under the Gun For Hire Quarantine Crawl page. Colandro’s furthest trek to date has been just over 50 miles to the Colt’s Neck General Store.--- John Petrolino, CNJFO Committee Member

    EDITOR's NOTE:

If smell-a-Vision was a thing, we'd all gain weight just watching The Quarantine Crawl. Since it's NOT, we highly recommend viewing Colandro's creative, timely, stress-reducing slice of Americana in heavy doses while we pray that Schmutter's brief stimulates the Federal Court into granting that injunction! Bon-Apatite!
