"U VILL DO EXACTLY AS I SAY" SAID THE COMMANDANT!
NO HONKING, NO WAVING, NO RIGHT TO CELEBRATE!

One of the anti-gunners’ favorite phrases is, “only the police should have guns.” You’ve heard it before--the Karens who demand gun control are the same ones to clamor that civilians should not be armed; only the police should be.

But the police state has arrived. When oathtakers become oathbreakers, the result is a police state. Second Amendment supporters who say that civilians also need to be armed are being justified. We see a dangerous increase in examples of those oathtakers carrying out Governors’ illegal executive orders.

In states with the tightest gun control, we are also seeing the tightest lockdown orders. Along with those executive orders issued by Governors acting like Kings, you have the cooperation of the police. The only way these king-like executive orders could possibly impact the people, is if 1) the people consent, or 2) if they do not consent –the police enforce these draconian orders against the people.

You have seen the terrifying videos of Police officers removing mothers from parks in front of their children, solo surfers being removed from shorelines, in the most recent times, a “no-drive and honk’ order signed by New Jersey State Police Colonel Callahan.

On May 9, 2020, Colonel Callahan issued his directive against driving and honking past people’s homes. We all have seen those cheerful drive-by birthday wishes, or the bus parade my daughter saw in my town. This is an expression of care given by our school workers who miss serving the children, with no nexus whatsoever to an increase in virus cases.

Very clearly, Callahan’s measures are not directly related to any science or an increase in virus cases. What they are, is a dangerous flexing of police state power backed by the willingness of our law enforcement to enforce these against the people. His Memo is one thing only: an aggressive assertion of the police state against The People; a warning and intimidation from the guy with all the guns and subordinates who will follow him.

If someone is willing to enforce a “no drive and honk order“ against parents and school children, or remove a woman from a park in front of her children, do you really believe that they should be the only ones to carry a gun? If anything, it is the justification for the Second Amendment on a platter.

The letter against driving and honking your horn, would be less disturbing if it was signed by an elected partisan politician like Governor Murphy himself. People have lower expectations about politicians, and even a general contempt. But our LEO’s have our highest expectations and respect. I find it more disturbing that it is the Superintendent of the New Jersey State Police himself, who has signed the letter. The guy with all the guns.

It is highly foreseeable that a politician could come along, and instruct, illegally, that the police merely shoot and kill innocent civilians, likely to be those who disagree with the politics of the person in power. This is not a stretch.

Before this pandemic, I never would’ve considered that our law-enforcement officers who have taken an oath to the Constitution, would have followed any such orders. Now I have all the evidence I need to see that some law-enforcement officers, would indeed have no problem carrying out illegal orders against civilians because the best predictor of future behavior is past behavior.

After reading Superintendent Callahan‘s letter, do you have any doubt in your mind that he would order and lead Police officers door-to -door, shooting those who refuse to turn in banned magazines or firearms when a politician decides that he personally doesn’t like them?

Do you have any question in your mind that a political opponent may be subject to being arrested for something that harms no one?

If our law-enforcement officers will arrest someone who has organized a rally, or who is reading a book by himself on the beach, or a mother in the park with her child, then you can be certain that a political opponent could be arrested, or a civilian who is known to be armed could be arrested or worse.

There is reason to be concerned that the police state has already arrived. Second Amendment supporters are feeling vindicated, because we understand the importance of making sure the power remains in the hands of the people specifically because civilians are armed in our society. The current state of affairs emboldens Second Amendment supporters because we know we are justified in our fight to maintain the Republic.

The Second Amendment is more important than ever and thanks to the concerning, dangerous and intimidating gestures, we are gaining more support from those on the fence, and even on the other side.

What's NEXT? Do we let Callahan order the ARREST or ticketing of Santa Clauses everywhere for making traditional rounds in a Firetruck as HE waves & the drivers (Santa's Helpers) blow the AIR HORNS & SIRENS as fellow crew members atop the hose-beds throw candy canes to excited children of all ages?
