CNJFO President Matthew Andras took his son Piero to visit the Battle of Monmouth Reenactment held annually at Monmouth Battlefield State Park last Sunday. Piero was thrilled to see, hear & SMELL all of the action & learn NJ's history in the Revolutionary War and how important the Second Amendment is to all of us in the present!
During a break in the Battle, Matt spoke with Ed Glidden, a Reenactor & fellow "Charcoal Burner" (Black powder Shooter) like our own Rosey. Ed is a member of Old Bridge Rifle & Pistol Club and is currently serving as its' Bullseye Pistol League Chairman & Match Director in addition to running Old Bridge's Bullseye Youth League. Being very active on 2A issues, these two gents struck-up a conversation spanning the centuries, all while Piero was listening & learning. Now if only we could get our Politicians to listen as intently as Piero!
History has taught us that we must band TOGETHER to fight injustice. The Scourge that is Justifiable Need is creating deadly results with a body count that continually climbs. We've recently observed the one-year anniversary of the Carol Bowne murder in her own driveway in Berlin, NJ. How many more innocent victims must die before NJ Legislators come to their senses and let us have the self-defense tools that residents in over 40 States currently employ? Be blunt but courteous when YOU call them, write them & ask them! They need to hear from all of YOU, not just your 2A Leaders!
The moral of the story is this: WEAR your CNJFO T-shirts! You never know how many 2A Patriots-in-waiting are yearning for the chance at starting a conversation! There's STRENGTH in numbers, so go out in public & help us BUILD AN ARMY! Don't have YOUR T-shirt YET? We can fix THAT! JOIN NOW to keep HISTORY ALIVE! Hurry and JOIN NOW before they BAN Ed's Flintlock! www.cnjfo.com/join-us
